Life saver after a squirrel chewed the wires off the senser, all was needed was to solder 2 wires and some heat shrink tubing. The new senser read outside temp at 74° the original honda one 77° good to go.

First off, shipping was offered as one day prime shipping and took 8 days to arrive. Maybe that's on the shipping carrier, but it took 5 days for the item to even show as being in actual transportation which leads me to believe the seller was also at fault. When the item finally arrived, the pigtail's connector and the sensor's connector would not click together no matter how much forced was used. I had to hack up the connectors with a razor quite a bit to make them fit. Theses two parts are sold together and the whole idea is that they work together out of the box! Once I finally got them installed, the temp has never read correctly. It's alway been about 5 degrees off. This was measured not only with local weather forecasts but a point to read thermometer aimed at the device and the bumper crash beam that I attached it to. All in all, I'll give it an extra star for actually working at all after installing, but past that this thing is junk. Will be trying a different one in the near future to replace this.Installed on a 2013 Honda Civic lx but that's irrelevant, these sensors are universal and you're better off finding a different universal one than using this just because it says it fits your vehicle.
