Was putting out 12psi to my 2 bbl carb. Flooded it instantly pouring gas all over my engine.

This is a nice fuel pump. Beware of those that have been sitting on the shelf for a long tiime. I went through 3 of them toget a good one. We think the diaphragms dry out and crack sitting for a long time.

Initially I thought the pump was going to fix my problems. I installed it everything went well. It ran for about 30 days and left me stranded. I checked everything (including dropping the fuel tank) got everything back together and the Jeep still wouldn’t start. After some trouble shooting I put the old pump back on and it’s working fine again. (The original issue was heat related not fuel pump, I know now) but this pump is failed and left me stranded needing a tow home.

Way too much psi for my carb, even though this pump is listed for an AMC 258 which has a stock 1 barrel carb. It overpowers the float noatter the float adjustment. These pumps are all made inconsistently and I highly do not recommend it.
