I had to replace my window regulator in my 1996 Dodge Ram 1500 because it broke. Easy fix with this part. It works great and the window works as good as new.

The original power window set up in my truck broke and the window was stuck. Somewhat concerned that this would be a pain in the rear job to do, I purchased this. After removing the door card and getting access to the interior, it was not all that bad of a process and this fits great.Took just over an hour to do, start to finish. I recommend purchasing some interior trim tools to help remove the door card, but screwdrivers and pliers can work as well. I also recommend buying some replacement plastic clips (Christmas trees) as I’m sure that one or more will break or be damaged.Much easier job than expected, and the new set up is quite and has been working great for more than a month now.

Easy to replace, just watched a video on YouTube. Took about 30 minutes to install. I added a little extra grease to the slides. Works excellent and is very quiet. Would buy again

Used it on my 2nd gen Dodge 2500. Identical to the old regulator. My window stopped in the up position, so I had to unbolt my old motor, 3 bolts with a 3/8" socket. The track and window were then lowered by hand to the bottom, to access 2-10mm track nuts. I eventually found out the problem was the window switch wiring plug, was not tight on the switch pins. But it goes up and down a lot faster than the old one, so I'm glad I replaced it, along with the switch. I greased the gear and 2 pivot pins on the regulator before the install.
