These are a great value for the money. I thought with a part this inexpensive that the quality would suffer and/or they would be difficult to install. Not So! The kit had the parts needed to do the installation and the regulator works like new. Awesome product!

I purchased this because I wanted to use my Amazon account. I normally do not order replacement car parts from Amazon. But I do know people that do. Upon receiving this part it did look like A cheaper no name part. After the painful install found that it was very noisy and made a popping noise. Because of the fact you have to rivet the part in the door there is no adjustment. It worked for about 10 times before it made a load bang and blew apart. So not impressed at all with the quality of this replacement part.

Been installed for about a week and works a little slow but good. Motor was smaller than the OE regulator but working fine. Only time will tell.

I installed this in my front driver's door this weekend. Drilling my old rivets was the worst part. I also ordered the Dorman kit for this window regulator, unfortunately my rivet gun is no where near large enough for the rivits these doors use.I made a quick trip to the local hardware store (with a new rivet and the small plastic pieces from the glass to ensure correct bolt size). Came home with a few extra bolts, lock-washers, and nuts to secure it all in place.The new one (this one I am reviewing) is a little slower than my factory one was, but by no means "painfully slow". It works well enough, I have no complaints, and would highly suggest this to anyone replacing their window regulators in their Crown Vic (mine is a 2005 Crown Vic LX).

Bought it to replace the window unit in the driver side window of my 2001 Mercury Grand Marquis LS and works like a charm.

I have an 09 crown Victoria interceptor and it just barely fits.The top cable is about a 1/2-1/4 inch too short.The motor is undersized and does not have the power to use the rapid down feature properly, even after calibrating and adjusting tracks.The top of the track bracket will scuff your window about halfway up if you don’t file it down. The carriage is loose and allows the window to rock in the door track when not fully up.I’ve been going with oem parts since I bought this car and remember why now.M6 3/4â€-1†bolts and nylock nuts are perfect if you don’t want to rivet it back in.It works, it’s cheap, it’ll make your window move.

Installed like OEM. Was quite a labour intensive install. If you are not mechanically inclined... get your mechanic to install. Motor is slower than the OEM one it replace.

Won't even roll the window up, doesn't track right and stops the motor. Not worth buying just wasted my time and money
