This is exactly what I needed to fix the window on my 2004 WJ Grand Cherokee. Super easy to install (plenty of youtube videos showing the process), and everything fits and works perfectly. You do need to transfer a couple of the mounting bolts from the old one, so don't toss the broken one yet. A lot of the negative reviews refer to specifically issues with a design change in 2000, so if you have a 2001 and up, this will work fine. If you have a 2000, it may or may not work.

Walked out to find the window down on our 04 WJ. One of the cable keepers had snapped. Instillation is tricky it doable. Just be prepared to replace some of the door card clips too. This was a near perfect it - the motor harness connection was almost too short but we were able to connect.

Just like it should be. Chrysler cable type regulators all break, so if it ends up breaking some day it will be just like the factory! Seriously, great value for the money

I give 5 stars for the simple fact that my window is finally shut all the way. Other than that. It fit right. It goes all the way up and all the way down no problem. Was here within 2 business days of order confirmation. Only thing to mention is there is a extra part of the mount plate attached to the motor. It even has threaded bolt holes for another application. Luckily it didn't matter. The other screws that held the motor together were still there and all I had to do was remove them and then reinstall them once lined up. Left little indents where the screw bolts were meant to seat on account of the door plating youre installing it to was keeping it from seating into the depressed mounting holes. So I'll have to wait and see if that becomes an issue. And I'll post it. Other then that. Killer deal, killer product.

I liked the easy install and the quality of the window regulator. I would have liked instructions to go along with it. Care and maintenance instructions would also be nice. It's a great product.

This was an exact replacement for a broken drivers door window regulator. It came with all necessary mounting bolts and worked very well after it was installed.

During the install it quickly became apparent that this part would not fit.The mounting plate on the motor regulator bolt pattern is totally off. The system was for the driver side front window, but the mounting plate was for the rear window. Needless to say bolt pattern being different it would not fit. However since I had it mostly installed I was able to get one bolt into the mounting plate and secure it.I did this just to check the motor to be sure it would operate before I went the further to try to correct the situation. The motor was under powered would barely get the window to the top, and being under powered it was extremely slow. That being said there was no reason to continue with the install so I removed it and returned it.I would suggest locating a different manufacturer. Doorman makes these and it may be a resolution for you, their products can be found on Amazon and locally at Napa and various other auto parts stores. Amazon will have the best pricing.
