Although Ford probably made a mistake making this a non-serviceable drive shaft with U-joints attached, it was very exciting to be able to find a factory part that fit perfectly and now the truck runs with absolute silence.

This driveshaft works perfectly on my 07 f150 5.4l v8 4x4 lariat. I had vibration while driving and clunking when I put it in gear. This fixed both issues. Installing it took just under 30 minutes. You will need a tube of motorcraft ptfe lube and a 12mm ,12 point socket ....enjoy the smooth ride after Installing it. Also chock the wheels and lift the rear end so you can put it in neutral so you're able to turn the shaft allowing you to work the four retaining bolts to the bottom for easy access
