APT, High temperature Polyimide Tapes
Polyimide tape shows excellent electrical insulation properties, high temperature resistant, and excellent solvent resistant. Durable backing with high temperature silicone adhesive allows for easy clean removal after exposing to heat.

Clean Removal
High temperature silicone adhesive removes cleanly at 260°C (500°F). No need to clean up residues.
Application:
Electronics
Due to its large range of temperature stability, and its electrical isolation ability, polyimide tape is usually used in electronic manufacturing as an insulation and protection layer on electrostatic sensitive and fragile components.
3D printing
Polyimide tape is the perfect accessory to cover your build platform during a 3D print. It can withstand the heating and cooling of a build platform. Certain plastics such as ABS filament adhere particularly well to polyimide tape making it perfect to use when a heated build platform is required.
Thermal Transfer Printing
High temperature resistance and clean removal makes the polyimide tape great for mug press, heat press and other thermal transfer printing applications. Will not go brittle after exposing to heat.

As a professional user of polyimide tape for 30 years, I wholly endorse the use of this product. Time will only tell for me how it lasts under heat conditions (I live in the Arizona heat). I won't be able to utilize this tape as I have in the past (extreme temperatures) since I am now retired. But this tape handles and adheres well. It seems a great value for the money.

This is a great product to stop scope slippage in your scope rings/scope mount. It functions just like the Burris friction paper that is included with some of their optics. It will completely stop the scope from moving under recoil and will protect the finish on the optic.

In all fairness it does mention 1 mil but that is way too thin. Still, it works great.

Bought this to hold a PCIE card that doesn't quite fit in place. Has not moved, and was really easy to work with.

I got this tape to wrap some lifepo4 packs I made and it worked great. I've had problems in the past with kapton tape that wasn't very sticky but this stuff is sticky af. It sticks to everything. It has decent release as well but make sure you put it where you want it the first time.This tape is everything you want it to be. Plenty thick and won't tear unless you nick it with a knife first.Best part is it's a couple bucks less expensive that most of the other ones on Amazon. So buy it now and wrap those batteries!

Me ha gustado mucho este tipo de cinta Kapton, nunca la habÃa tenido. Me ha sorprendido gratamente lo fuerte que pega. Concretamente este modelo es bastante ancho y me facilita las cosas todos los que habÃa visto anteriormente eran muy estrechos.Lo uso para pegarlo a la cama de la impresora y tratar las tolerancias que tiene al combarse la cama por el calor.Hay compañeros que también lo usan para cubrir el cartucho calentador del hotend pero en mi caso uso un calcetin.

Se recibió producto, pero no cumple totalmente con la descripción. Es una cinta de Poliamida genérica, pero saca el trabajo... El adhesivo es... regular.

I work on a welding shop with slot of machines parts with threaded components. I have been using this tape to ensure spatter doesn’t get into the threads, it’s worked well so far. Will be using more in the future!

Used this to protect a latex mould as i wanted to go over the latex a with a 3D pen.This worked really well and protected the latex from the heat of the pen.overall i am very satisfied.

I use it to compress small lifepo4 battery cells in the making of batterys. It works very well, doesnt stretch, sticks very well with no degredation that ive noticed yet, heat rated. Good stuff, ill buy it again.
