This is a great heater. I'm using the 1200w version on a 300 gallon aquarium and it keeps it at a nice consistent 79F without running too often. Only problem is I have a banded leporinus that loves the taste of the insulation! He shorted out the wiring, almost caused a fire, and didn't even have the decency to look guilty. 😡Just bought my second one and am building a cage around it this time.

I bought two for my outside above ground pond here in SE Texas. I probably only needed just one, but I get paranoid during the unpredictable winters we get in the Houston area. This past Jan 2025 we dipped below freezing several times, once to 18F, and the water never got below 77F. The design is easy and you just have to plug it in, set it and forget it.

It works, adjustable thermostat is fairly accurate but I find the one-button system difficult to use.

It did the job i didn’t have any problems with my water fountain it kept the water above freezing
