When you use the Aqua Lung GripLock tank band, changing out tanks between dives is quicker, easier and less painful. This tank band comes with 3 macro-adjustment presets on one side of the hook and loop tank band, designed for the various diameter cylinders available today. On the other side of the band, you have the micro-adjustment hook and loop feature, complete with a sturdy rubber grip, which allows you to fine tune the fit of your tank band quickly and easily. Aqua Lung even decided to add a rubber traction pad to the inside of the stainless steel buckle to further ensure your tank stays right where it belongs. And with their patent-pending Finger-saver feature, you can say goodbye to pinched fingers. The Aqua Lung GripLock tank band ensures your tank stays where it belongs on any BCD.

I replaced the lower tank band of my BC with this and very pleased with the results. When changing over tanks it's much easier now as I don't need to lift the BC as high over the tank valve. It's secure and easy to use.

I bought 2 of these to replace the standard straps on my Zeagle Stiletto BS. They are jst a little more narrow but the holding power is great. I did leave the rubber strap taht was part of the original Zeagle setup and combining that with the piece of rubber in the Aqualung clasp and the tank will go nowhere. If I buy another BC that does not have these I will upgrade them immediatly.

I removed my old strap and replaced it with this one. I used tweezers to pull the strap into my old BCD. I then took it to my scuba shop. The man helped adjust my strap to the perfect size for a tank. Make sure to adjust your strap ahead of a trip since this may be tricky to do on a rocky boat. This strap held my tank really well and the tank did not move at all. It was really easy to snap onto the tank as well. My old plastic strap had just worn out. I am glad I replaced it with this strap since it is really nice and works well. It is also easy to snap onto your tank. Being a smaller women I had no issues getting it tight enough on my tank.

As the title says, it's the best upgrade I ever did to my BCD. I recently bought a backplate/wing (BP/W) setup which had a closed loop type of band where you have to put your BP/W over the tank to secure it. Man that was annoying.I bought 2 of these, and changing tanks is easier than ever. Plus the presets are on point and secure.

I use an 8 inch diameter steel 133 tank for Diving and lifting my BC off the tank was a pain with my old tank bands. Having buckles that completely disconnect from each other (rather than just cam open) saves time and effort in changing tanks. I'm glad to have found theses tank bands which I installed on my Dive Rite TransPac.

I was nervous about purchasing this as I wasn't sure if it was the right strap for my new BCD. The band is adjustable, and took about 3 minutes to install. Booked a dive, packed the original strap just in case, and headed to the boat. the original strap never made it out of my dive bag. I'd rented steel 100 tanks, and actually had to adjust the strap a wee bit smaller. Why this isn't standard on every BCD is beyond me. If you're considering this, just get it. you'll be very very pleased. and now that my surface interval is over... Dive! dive! dive!!
