After owning two Aquaquest Guide tarps, I've become a fan of their products. This bivy is well made, lightweight and appears to be waterproof. I like having the ability to ensure my sleep system stays dry when the possibility of unexpected stormy weather presents itself. This is handy for cowboy camping, when using a tarp shelter, or just as an extra safety measure. It's still a bivy, so it will never be luxurious, but it does the job.

I can't believe I owned other bivy's This is by far the best. just get one and never look back. I tested all of my bivy's for a week and this is the only one that worked/survived and kept me dry.This bivy sets the standard for all others.

didn't get to use it was not very convinced it would hold up so I returned it.Felt like the material was a little on the thin and fragile side for my activities.Prob not a bad weekend warrior product.

I had it one year now, and it is still holding up...No rips or damage, keeps me dry during the rain, including heavy pour downs, and works great during the winter...It's easy to pack/roll up, especially during cold weather and extreme rain...I like it...

Really liked the look and feel of the bivy. But took it out for the first time to camp on the deck of my boat(the main purpose I bought it for) and before sunrise when everything was covered in dew, my sleeping bag was definitely wet inside the bivy. Beautiful fall night with no clouds and no wind, and this thing couldn’t keep my sleeping bag dry from the morning dew. Definitely wouldn’t want to be stuck relying on this in a cold pop-up rain shower.

I use this to keep my personal sleep system dry during our field problems the Bivys they issue us are only water resistant for about 30 minutes, I was at company STX and it started raining out of my platoon I was the only one with a dry bag by morning. It’s also very durable taking rocks and thorn bushes in stride with no issues so far.

I use it in the desert where there is almost no rain but some night and morning mist. I end up sleeping in a sponge because it is not even water resistant and certainly not water proof!!!

Plenty large enough and the full length side zip is delightful, but this is NOT a laminated (waterproof) zip and nor is the bivvy bag itself waterproof.Leaving it in the garden during a British summer downpour to test it's claims before trusting it in the wild was a good move.. the head of the bag was pointing down hill, so no ingress from the opening, yet still the inside of the bag was completely wet and even enough for water to pool when making an impression in the material.Excellent for dry nights, OK for mist, bad for anything extra**UPDATE 27TH MAY 2023**See the 3rd picture as it hangs to dry. I retract the previous benefit of the doubt for mist, it sucks!!!To be clear - do not trust this product to protect you nor and gesture worth more than £20

No es malo en general. No tuve problemas de condensación.Pero que el zipper izquierdo sea mas corto que el derecho me disgusta. Además deberia poderse ajustar la abertura de la cara y simplemente es un elastico poco tenso y muy abierto. Cambiando eso serÃa uno de los mejores

Tested in sub zero conditions to add to my winter sleep system. You don't need an expensive winter sleeping bag as this helps retain the heat and stop condensation dripping on your three season bag. We'll made and functional zipper. Highly recommended.
