When used as directed, these work perfectly! Use with baby brine shrimp that are one or two days old only. You need some pressure to separate them and get them through the first net. Too much pressure, and the eggshells can break and go through. Not enough pressure, and you don't rinse the shrimp through. Does not take much practice. You need spray, not just rinsing. If you cannot do this, then get a 3 year old to help you, because it is easy.

only needed the one finer net to feed my neon tetras both shrimp and eggs .

The build quality seems fine but the net themselves don’t allow the brine shrimp to pass through the first net. It’ll drain the water, but it won’t separate the shells whatsoever. I’ve tried to use it multiple times but it just hasn’t worked.

I have little hands. In the picture those nets look small but are in reality they are larger than the palms of my hands. They work fine. We had a laugh about our industrial sized brine shrimp factory (we are feeding just 22 baby fish).

Works great, but if you just buy bbs from aquarium coop you won't even need to strain the eggs from shrimp because all the eggs float
