I was tired of the cheap inaccurate thermometers I’ve been getting so I tried one of these and was so impressed that I have three now . They look great in my tanks and the best is they are accurate with my inkbird and other thermometers I have . And when the battery dies you can replace it . I highly recommend this product .

Before buy, look at the actual measurements on the posting and see how that will look at on your tank, b/c the photos can be a bit mis-leading, but whatever, that is fine. It sticks to the glass great and it picks up on my touch to show the easy-to-read display. And as a bonus, it looks kinda cool on the tank imho.The only real issue that I have run into (and I was expecting this with an out-of-the-tank gauge), is my tank is outside where the water is 60-63 deg and the air temp can get below freezing. The temp read out can be anywhere from 0-5deg off from the real temp. For me, it is not a huge deal since there are pond creatures in the tank that can handle that and I am using this to make sure that the heater is not broken and the water has gone way too low.

I have a temp controlled heater in my tank and the temperature that the heater reads is pretty accurate to what this thermostat reads. Love it for my fish tank!

This sticks to the side or front of the tank using 3M tape. Adhered easily to the front of my tank and the temp is spot on. I had a heater go out and purchased a Fluval heater to replace it and it wasn't getting up to temp. Stopped at 74.5 degrees. We were watching this gage and thought something might be wrong with it as both heaters were reading low. Double checked it with a laser temp gage and confirmed it was correct. Purchased a new heater and we're back to 80 and the heater gage and this gage are the same. Very nice gage and easy to use and read.
