With all the small differences in Pond fittings, this is the easiest solution to a broken part. Too pricey though.

This one looks better built then one that came with them. Seems you get what you pay for I would have paid half more when I got filter then pay more when cheap one failed. This one works great and makes water changes better. Old shut off failed had to go back to cap that always leaked washer had to be just right made job nightmare. Had filter 5 years maybe company sends this new shut off valve with all units now.

This valve lasts a few months and it breaks after some use
