The Aquascape Waterfall Spillway is a cost-effective way to create the starting point of a beautiful waterfall or stream by providing smooth, consistent, leak-free water flow. The Waterfall Spillway is a versatile tool that can be used in a wide variety of water feature applications. As the incoming water rushes in, the water is diffused by strategically positioned internal barriers, creating a smooth flow of water.
The wide 22-inch spillway provides can handle up to 7,500 gallons per hour, and it's ideal for use with Pondless Waterfall systems where more expensive biological filters are not necessary. The Aquascape Waterfall Spillway can also be installed as an additional waterfall or stream onto a new or existing pond. Its durable design allows boulders, gravel, soil, or other creative landscape material to be set directly on top of the Waterfall Spillway, making it easy to camouflage into the surrounding landscape.
The spillway comes complete with 2-inch PVC slip fitting, 1.5-inch barbed hose fitting, and pre-installed 2-inch bulkhead -- providing a watertight connection on the back of the spillway. The Aquascape Waterfall Spillway also carries a limited Lifetime Warranty. Building a second waterfall and using this brand again bc of the quality. Very sturdy and will support a very heavy rock and not distort. I only gave three stars for "value" as it is over priced for what it is, but you pay the price for such a specialized component you need to work.

Completely solved my waterfall issues. Previously had a lot off lost water because of splashing and way too high water pressure feeding the falls. Options were to get a variable speed pump (several hundred dollars), or install this product. Easy to install, clear instructions and works great. Since there isn't really any info online about the back end connection, I thought I'd provide what it has so you can have the material ready when it arrives.You have 2 options:1. 2 Inch PVC. They provide the adapter, so you'll need to likely use a bushing or adapter to upsize your PVC to match the 2". Unless of course you are running 2" PVC in your pond. Harder method in my opinion as lining up the PVC to your spillway could get tricky.2. Vinyl Tubing. Product ships with another adapter that accepts flexible hosing. From what I saw, 1.5" vinyl I had worked great with a clamp and had 0 leaks. You could likely use 2" vinyl but good luck finding that.

A bit hard to hide as we approach the pond from the waterfall side. I got sandstome slabs, and built a structure covering it, it looks very natural, and I can access the spillway if needed.

Very heavy duty. I built a rock waterfall that is attached to our pool and have some heavy slate stones ontop of this spillway and it's no problem at all. It moves a lot of water and forms a great waterfall. I am very please I went with this particular spillway. It was more expensive than other cheaper one's that I found on-line but after finishing the waterfall....I'm so glad I spent the extra money. Well worth it.

It was painful to drop almost $200 for a relatively small piece of plastic, but it has been working great and the build quality is solid. So no objections to the actual product, I just wish it was a little cheaper so water features could be more attainable for a larger group of people.

Loving this item. I got the 12†one, put a 1300 gph pump on it and have a gorgeous waterfall. It was easy to install and set up. Very pleased.

I liked this item...much cheaper than what I eventually used....but it wouldn’t physically fit in my waterfall system...but did a perfect job with water control...sorry I had to return it...the next one costed twice as much in stainless steel!

This is a robust product and we hope to have it for many years. Be sure to have an adequate pump to support the spillway. The company offers support for their product and advice for necessary equipment. Very pleased with their product and prompt delivery.

Very sturdy and good quality product worth the priceQuick delivery from amazon made it amazing.The only issue for me was connecting 32mm hose as the spillway accepts from 40mm hose so I have to put some adapters but connection was a breeze.
