This radio is fantastic. I installed this in my 2012 Road Glide with stock speakers and NO rear speakers, again just the two front standard speakers. I am not a stereo geek, I just want to hear music and I want it loud enough to hear over the bike at hiway speeds. I'm not looking to setup a show bike or be a mobile DJ. ;)The good stuff:Crazy easy to install. The best advice I can give anyone is a little bit of grease along the left and right sides of the rubber gasket makes the installation into the bracket so much easier. The radio has two plugs, the HD multi-pin plug and the antenna. Slide the radio in the bracket, mount with the four bolts used when you removed the old radio, plug the device in and power on. It will probably take you longer to remove the fairing (especially if you have an RG) than it will for you to install the radio. This radio has built in equalizer settings for rock, spoken word and a few others. However if you want to customize you can. The sound from the stock speakers were very good. Again, I'm not a stereo geek. The radio DOES have a clock. The option and settings for the clock are buried down in the menus...but it's there. I really like the fact that the radio is actually the faceplate and can be removed. Once you remove the radio you are left with a 'compartment' that's water proof and perfect for holding your phone or whatever device you use to store your music. Inside the compartment is a USB charging port AND an AUX connection utilizing the standard 3.5 mm cable. This radio gives you the ability to store more FM stations than you will probably ever use, and enough AM stations to satisfy as well. The Bluetooth was crazy easy to connect. Select Bluetooth from the menu, open the Bluetooth settings on your device and select "AV AQ-MP". All my handlebar controls worked like they should and handle bar controls can also be used while in Bluetooth to skip and reverse songs. The bad. I can only see 'bad' things and even these were not enough for me to drop a star.It doesn't have the automatic volume control. I personally don't care about that. There are apps I can download on my phone that will do that for me while I'm listening to music via Bluetooth. The only thing that I feel the company should have done was provide the cover for when you remove the radio. If you remove the radio and it rains, there is nothing to keep the water out of that compartment. You can purchase the cover, but for $299 you would think it would include the cover. There are several other connections in the back of the radio that look easy to hook up, but again I only have the two speakers in the fairing so I just tied those out of the way.Overall, I really like this radio, I like how easy it was to install and use. Bluetooth connection was easy and now I'm good to go down the road jammin' to my tunes.

Just installed this great beautiful radio in my 2011 Ultra Classic and i'm so excited and pleased with everything about the unit. To be able to use the hand controls is a great pleasure !!!! It even controls the songs I want to here from my old iPhone that I use as an ipod. I mostly listen to digital music. The installation was a breeze !!!! People here complaining about the four bolts !!!! no big deal !!! You use your figure tips to place the bolts in place and then you secure them with the wrench.. There's plenty of room. Not the most comfortable job in the world, but such is life !!! It goes in perfect and snug because of the seal. I'd rather it be snug than have space around the unit. Plug it in and go to town !!!! RCA outs to an amp with four Cerwin Vega 6.5. Clear, audible and enough power for me. I come from a world of Nakamichi from when I was a young man. A product that not a lot of people hear about because it's too expensive. But I can't find a Nakamichi dealer here in Florida. If you want real sub bass, mids and highs, you need a good crossover and multiple amps. As i'm older, I wasn't going to spen too much money.. Just wanted to improve my music system. I highly recommend this head unit to anyone wanting a Harley compatible aftermarket radio. !!!!!!!

Hooked this up in my road glide today. Super fast and easy to install. My favorite part is that it has a hookup for the rear speakers, which I was adding anyways. The plug didn’t match my kit, but I was able to splice in the kit and it works great. Made my stock speakers sound better and it sounds amazing with the new ones too

I will apologize right away if this gets long winded....I was very leary of ordering this unit online for 2 reasons, first off, im a hands on guy,i believe there is quality in substance, usually if itlooks and feels like a piece of crap....it is. Secondly, after stopping at a couple of very reputable car audio storefronts,as there dont seem to be big demand for bike audio experts in upper MI, none of them had heard of aquatic av. Well,i figured if i didnt like it i could return it, so i bought it.Shipping was of course prompt and package was in pristine condition. First stop with the radio was to the car audio shop cuz he wanted to check it out.Needless to say when he got his hands on it he was as impressed as i was.Yes, he wanted to sell me his stuff, but said this unit was better than what he had to offer in marine grade equiptment. He noticed the cooling fins in the rear of the unit to dissipate the heat from the built in amp. After that i was satisfied, time to installHad this been a standard installation, id say couple hours tops. Mine,on the other hand was a 2010 electraglide police. No handlebar switches or 23 pin connector harness or speakers, but i did know that going into this project. So for any of you out there with police bikes, this is a very doable project and this is the perfect stereo for it. 13" Wild1s ape hangers wired internally with new switch housings and volume and mode switches, the female end of the 23 pin connector is available thru h-d or drag.If memory serves me right, this stereo only uses about 15 of the 23 pins in the harness if your doing what i did. AND!!!! The tech support that i received from Aquatic and Dragonfly were top notch. Their help was 5 star no doubt!!! Hats off to both for answering all my questionsAgian, if your replacing an existing set-up, the hardest part of this install is the 2 inner screws that hold the radio in place, some good ball end allen wrenches and a neighbor kid with small hands is all ya needThe only reason i give this unit 4 star instead of 5 is you cant scroll thru you pre-set stations using handle bar control and there is no avc Neither is a deal breaker for me cuz the bluetooth capability far outweighs both of them. Im not sure if h-d holds exclusive rights to the avc, but im hoping Aquatic can do something with the pre-set feature in the near futureSound quality, tuner reception are fantastic. You want good speakers with this unit and it will blow your facory system away!CB functions? Seriously? Intercom and rear volume control? Thatss why she has her own bike!!

Baja calidad en zona de ensamble con motocicleta. Aleación de aluminio muy ligera. Soportes no aguantan al apretar los tornillos

I didn't want to spend a lot of money. This is a very basic unit. Radio plus Bluetooth. Seems more weatherproof than the Harley original. Was easy to fit using the plug on the existing loom. Holes lined up exactly. Not the most beautiful radio in the world, but it works & interfaces seamlessly with the handlebar controls.

I had one of these units in my road glide for about 5 years. It’s had a ton of miles on it, and got a lot of use. I was on a trip a couple weeks ago and I smoked a pot hole really hard that ended up doing my unit in. So I’d say 5 years of steady use was pretty good in my opinion (and probably would’ve got more if it wasn’t for my stupidity).I couldn’t justify dropping over $1000 on a Rockford unit, so I ordered one of these again. This is the second time I’ve ordered something from Havoc, and my experience has been awesome! I don’t know if they have some deal with Canada Post, but free shipping usually is slow as hell, however not the case with these guys, this took no time to get here.I opened the box to find a note saying that the unit was bench tested to ensure it’s fully operational. I really appreciate that they take the time to make sure that you’re not down extra time with a part that doesn’t work.My only complaint with this deck is that it looks like it came from the early 2000’s and basic as hell. It serves its purpose, and half the price of a Rockford deck.I’m confident if my deck eats it in the warranty time frame, Havoc has me covered.
