Update since I have received itPurchased during October Prime Day 2024Still, nothing to complain about. The unit is a nice size for my counter. It still makes great-tasting water.To the manufacturer - Can you make the unit in Blue? How about a stainless steel carafe top instead of a plastic top?(My Opinion) The cost of filters on Amazon is overpriced. Why so expensive? Go to the manufacturer's website, they are less expensive, pick yourself up a few 3-set filter replacementsBackground.Tap water drinker dislikes the taste and cost of bottled water but also hate the taste of tap water.Pain in the butt to reclaim deposits on bottle empties. Try not to be subjected to Microplastic particles where I can help it. Uses an ample amount of Lemon and Lime juice to kill the chlorine smell and lousy taste of my tap water.Took advantage of the prime deal for this water purifier and am extremely happy with the results and difference made to what I am now drinking. The water where I live is crystal clear, and tastes horrible.I have an undersink unit that is driving me nuts. It makes a whole lot of perfect water, but it never stops running. I went online and read a lot of stuff and watched some videos. My takeaway is that you need a masters in engineering plus a thousand years of plumbing experience to fix this. Plus a good back and knees. I don't have any of that stuff, and the constant sound of water running is driving me insane. I've spent all the money I'm going to spend on it!Enter this thang. I personally think it's too expensive. But it works great, and it's very well designed. The filters are super easy to install, the waste tank and the pitcher only go in one way and that way is obvious - you won't have to try to figure out if you've done it right. If they were to slash the price and do a bit of promo, this could be something everybody wants.I haven't even looked at the instructions yet (but I will). It is so easy to put together; then you run four rounds of tap water through and you're ready to drink. The water is delicious.It has a tap water container on the back that you fill up at the sink. The unit starts immediately when you place that container down. The water recirculates quickly through the various filters and sends clean water to the pitcher in front. One round results in 30 oz clean drinking water, and you're left with wastewater that you are to pour down the drain (or use for watering decorative (non-edible) plants or cleaning (not dishes or things you will eat off of) or you could mop with it).Unlike the undersink unit, the filters are quite easy to install.

This thing was a breeze to set up and the initial cycling of the filters I did 5 pitchers of water. Fast forward about an hour later I was ready to filter out my first true pitcher of drinking water. I am really picky about taste of water. Background: my tds meter on the tap water read about 264ppm when my first drinking pitcher got done I dipped my tds into the water 26ppm WOW that seems like a 99 percent reduction in all the bad stuff. I poured up a glass after I chilled the glass carafe down to fridge cold as I like cold water. I gulped the water down it was so delicious! Now onto the real test how does the water taste with my favorite cup of coffee? I first ran a water vinegar mix through the coffee maker to thouroughly clean it poured in my Aqua tru water I pushed go on 8 ounces added my usual sugar and stored it up. WOW the most delicious cup of coffee I’ve ever had in my life! I have successfully done what I set out to do with this machine. No more bottled water coming into this house I have the freshest cleanest most pure water thanks to aqua tru the OG in the RO countertop business. Which of you didn’t know they developed the first ever RO with the aqua tru classic back in 2016. This machine has 4 stages of filtration it says the RO membrane is supposed to last 2 years I am thouroughly blown away with this simple machine and love that it has a glass carafe that came included. I am now an aqua tru customer for life.

We've used this water filter for about a year and it's AMAZING. We use it for our ugly, scary well water and after purification, the water comes out crystal clear and tastes incredible. It's so well made and the glass carafes, like the machine, are really high quality (we bought a second one to keep in the fridge). The noise isn't bad at all, just kind of a dribbling water and humming sound, and it only takes about 15 minutes to make a carafe. I did a TON of research on different companies/filters before we bought this and am so thankful to have found it. We love that they're made in the USA and have a real person support line (not that we've had to use it but nice to know!). We've had two friends buy them after using ours, it's just that solid a product and worth the price (you definitely get what you pay for in the best of ways).

After some research I decided to go for this filter. Installation of filters was easy and water is of great taste. The filtered container is a bit small but fine for single person or pair (not for whole family or small office). One downside is that tap water container is made of plastic (solid quality but still).

Got it set it up ready to go then look at plug that wont plug in the UK nothing in the manual or anywhere else how has someone used this in the UK? spoke to aquatru and they said they do not sell through amazon so where have these aquatru carafe's come from? how comes amazon US are selling them, and they should come with adaptors for UK usage, which mine didnt. Are these dodgy products. Starting to think amazon is getting iffy to buy from, third item that hasnt been good recently. Maybe amazon isnt what it was. Do these products come with a warranty?

This is one of the best products I own in any realm. Where I live, our water is very hard and is fluoridated. Not only does this change the taste of the water you drink, it also impacts your health. Getting those minerals and toxins out of your water is as essential as getting them out of the food you eat.This water filter works very easily; the only non-intuitive problem that I have is that it starts filtering water from the tank on the back the second the tank is replaced, instead of after you set up the collection carafe. Otherwise, this works efficiently, quickly and works like a charm. Highly recommended.

My overall satisfaction rate after more than 1 week is actually 5 stars. The taste of the filtered water is great, and I started feeling safe while drinking the water. I totally recommend the product. The material of the carafe is glass, the general usage of the product is not complicated.However, right after I cleaned the water tank placed in the rear for the first time, I noticed that the plastic became foggy. I cleaned the tank with a sponge and a dish soap as they mentioned in the manual, but it got scratched easily with the sponge which you can see in the picture. I've chosen this model because they mention that this tank is BPA and BPS free, I trust them but this was disappointing to see right after I cleaned it for the first time. That's why I reduced to 4 stars.
