I have a couple of paddle boards that came with paddles but I wanted a lightweight carbon paddle. I'm really happy with this paddle. It's a great choice for a carbon fiber paddle. It's really lightweight but sturdy.I also like how this paddle adjusts. It's really easy to adjust to different lengths. Plus, it comes apart for easy storage inside my paddle board bag.Another thing that makes this a higher end paddle is the shape of the paddle. It's a little bit curved which makes it more energy efficient. As a bonus, this paddle floats so I don't have to worry about it ending up in the bottom of the lake. Overall, I can't find anything about this paddle I don't like. It's a little more expensive than the aluminum paddles but well worth the extra cost for the carbon fiber.

Super light with nice construction. Have paddled about 6-7 times with it now. My only beef, and this goes for virtually any 3 piece, is that little pop up button attachment. It works fine but there is the slightest bit of play. Honestly you have to work pretty hard to notice it but over time, as anyone who’s ever has a pool brush knows, the hole will widen slightly. Overall very happy and I like that I can break it down into short pieces and fit in board bag.

It's simply amazing how light this is, yet completely sturdy- even when putting some force into it. The assembly is simple and it breaks down to fit easily in a small car if you're using an inflatable board or want to make sure your paddle doesn't grow legs and walk away when your car is parked somewhere.The finish on it is impressive, too- it looks great in addition to perfect function. When you spend a while out on a board with a heavier paddle and switch to this- you'll really understand how awesome it really is. One of my favorite upgrades to my aquatic recreational arsenal, ever. Now I want a carbon paddle for my regular kayak, too!

Not a huge deal but I wish the profile of the cam locking mechanism housing was streamlined and smooth so it did not scratch hands while changing hand positions.

Love how light weight the paddle is, and very surdy under heavy paddle/pressure. Great ease with height adjustemnts. I'd definitly recommend this product.
