The AR1890 Digital Pressure Gauge is a professional high precision, high range, high resolution digital pressure gauge for indoor temperature measurement with a large screen display. It can quickly measure the pre-blue detection pressure value and has a dual channel that can simultaneously detect the pressure difference between two detection ports.
This instrument can measure the air pressure of the single pipe or the pressure difference between two detection ports. It offers 12 units of measurement and advanced features like DATA HOLD, MIN-MAX- AVG mode, ZERO, DATA RECORD, and AUTO POWER OFF. It is widely used in natural gas pipelines, air-conditioning refrigeration, and ventilation systems, mechanical hydraulics, plastic molding, biopharmaceutical molding, mining area pressure detection, gas, liquid, and production industrial equipment pressure detection.

This has worked very well for me and the price can't be beat. I got a pair of static pressure sensors and use it to measure my furnace, including when the filter needs replacing. Also ordered a used Pitot tube on E-Bay and can now measure flow rate. Note this unit is differential (can be used single ended). Some of the expensive ones are actually two separate sensors so one can get two single ended readings at once as well as the difference between them. But not having that is a minor inconvenience. Range is appropriate for HVAC use.

I was using a home made slack tube manometer to troubleshoot my furnace.I decided I needed something better and this had a very reasonable price.Works great, very accurate and repeatable.The package and the manual both state that the battery is included, however the amazon page says it is not. The Amazon page is correct.So plan on providing your own 9 volt battery to power this.Comes with tubing, 1/8" adapter and carrying case. Great accessories.

Bought this to measure static pressure in my hvac system. Price was excellent and it does the job. I can't speak to accuracy as I have nothing to compare it to. The tubing that it comes with is super short and I had to purchase new tubing. Display only shows one measurement and if using both ports it will only show the difference in the two.

Product arrived on time.Instructions are not very clear on how to use the sensor. They did a good job of explaining all of the buttons, but not the actual process of using it.One suggestion would be to make one of the plastic hoses 10" longer. Where I was using it, I couldn't lay it down so it had to hang from the hose. Everything worked fine, but just a suggestion.

I needed an air pressure meter to measure the pressure of my gas supply for a new fire pit that I had installed. Although this particular meter can also measure differential, I only used it to measure a single source. The measurement in inches of water (also called water column) was easily obtained. I first connected the included tubing and connector to the left input connector and recorded a negative reading. I then moved the tubing to the right input connector and recorded the same reading, but this time as a positive value. They are not marked and the instructions don't specify which input is positive or negative. Easy enough to figure out though. I'm glad I chose this unit as it proved to be more accurate compared to reviewing a measurement on a mechanical dial.

Use this meter daily as I am an HVAC service technician. Works great, fits nicely in my tool bag without taking up a lot of space. It comes with hoses and adapter that fit nicely in included pouch. Only problem they didn't remember to pack the battery's . But I can't complain since I was replacing a much more expensive larger brand that was broken. I really like this one better just wish it had a magnet mount built in.

I bought this when I realized that my other manometer could only do pressure and only had one input. Working on my furnace inducer motor I was unable to determine why the pressure switch was short cycling my furnace.First, this does have a backlight so another reviewer said his didn't' so I dont know whats going on there. Putting the battery in (9V supplied) I removed the screw thinking it would stay captured in the cover but no if fell out and I had to find it in the carpet. Turning it on it seems to be a sturdy quality instrument. I did not see a way to ZERO the meter and so it read -0.002 with nothing connected and no way to adjust it that I saw (anyone else?).Pros: good range and resolution, lots of different units to switch it to, backlight, memory so you can review pressure after the fact.Cons: Battery door screw falls out, nipples and hoses that come with this are very small and found it difficult to attach it to my furnace nipples. I think I need to get adapters and larger hose for most applications.
