When you open the package you will say wow. They are premium balls for sure. Everyone likes playing with my balls. They roll so nice and you can see the difference on the break. Very pleased and worth every single cent. These are no $50.00 set of balls, I threw those away. You cannot go wrong with these and you will be extremely happy. They are very high quality and very shiny. This was the best $200.19 I ever spent. These are the only set of balls you will ever have to buy. The Vitrotech technology they use makes all the difference and you can see the difference. It is worth the one time expense because you will never need to buy balls again. I run them through the ball polisher every time before we shoot with just a dash of aramith ball polish. I would highly recommend these to everyone.

I've been playing pool off and on for more years than I like to admit. My brother and I have been playing once a week since he lost his wife. A good quality table and decent equipment make the game more enjoyable. My cue ball had a small crack for a while, and it finally developed into a little chip. The chip on the cue didn't seem to affect play, but I decided to replace the set anyway. I've always replaced entire sets to keep consistency between the balls. This time I went with the Aramith phenolic balls as they are renowned for their longevity. The Aramith company has been around for a while... so now I should be able to replace single damaged balls without the concern of a mismatched set. I might pick up one of the Aramith spotted balls just so I can see the spin that I've been using all of these years. These balls look nice, in an old fashioned sort of way. They have a yellowish tinge to them, and the stripes and numbering are a bit blurry. Aramith says that this is due to the hardness of the coating. The blurriness of these balls doesn't affect the way they play. Some ball sets have wild color schemes or the look of marble, and they play just as well too.At the time of this review, these balls were priced at around $200 for the set. I've read reviews that make it sound like the reviewer opened up the box and instantly started shooting like a pro. I like these balls, but they don't play significantly better than any of the ball sets I've had before. I think these reviewers might be experiencing the infamous high dollar golf club effect. So far I like these balls. Only time will tell if they were worth the money.

My new Aramith Premium set arrived with the Aramith wrapper. The wrapper assures the balls are authentic Aramith and that they have not been tampered with since they left the factory. All balls are within the (+-0.005") 2.25" specification, with an average reading of 2.248". All balls are within 0.002" of the average. They are beautiful with vibrant colors, high gloss and no production scratches.I bought the Aramith Premium set to replace my old Aramith Premium set. After 25 years, they are -0.015" (1/64") out of specification. But, they are still very playable and look great.I viewed many reviews and photos of ball damage and chipping. This can certainly occur, but it is rare. Balls should not show cracks or pieces missing. However, if balls begin showing tiny chips which are eerily similar to each other, it is usually not the fault of the ball. Rather, it could be a table issue. There is a protruding staple or something else sharp and hard contacting the balls and causing the damage. When I first got my table, all balls eventually had tiny half moon chips. I discovered it was a pocket rivet. When a ball was pocketed hard, it would hit the rivet and leave a small chip. I covered all pocket rivets with adhesive felt and have never had the problem since. Fortunately, it was a cheaper set of balls that came with the table.

I’ve had a few different pool tables throughout my life and I always buy Aramith premium balls. These are solid, have a good weight to them and roll as straight as possible. They’re also very shiny and stay shiny for a long time. Takes less maintenance and keeps your felt looking good for a long time.

God, these balls are glorious. Let me ask you something: do you want to have amazing balls or just average balls? I mean, you can spend - literally - $20 for a set of average balls. I did! I bought a set of $20 balls with no polish, balls that show every stupid little defect and chalk mark. Balls that don’t even roll very well. And then every time I saw them, every time I played with them, I was completely underwhelmed and depressed because they looked like ass. Even though, yes, I only spent $20 on them! That was me, a week ago! Now, when I look at my balls, when I play with them and I see how polished and beautiful they are, I feel as if my money was spent wisely. Because I know these Aramith Premium balls will look amazing and last for many, many years! Before I bought these Aramith Premiums, my girlfriend hated my balls, now she’s loving them! If you’re going to play pool even on a semi-regular basis, you owe it to yourself to buy balls that look and play like these. You don’t need to drop $250+ on a set of balls. But $20, $50, even $100 just isn’t gonna cut it. Spend the $165, buy these, the Premiums, you won’t regret it. They’re durable. And SHINY AS FUUUUUHHH!! And from that day forward you will play knowing that your awesome balls — the balls you paid extra money for — will last and last. And they will be the envy of all your friends. Isn’t that what’s important?

I was a bit skeptical ordering something like this on Amazon but I needed these in a rush and most stores around me had them on backorder, so I went for it. These were authentic; they had the Aramith stamped shrinkwrap, and the balls inside were brand new. The balls were up to spec weight wise and rolled true, and had all of the hallmarks of genuine Aramith balls, the kinds of things only the Saluc/Aramith factory is capable of manufacturing. I won't list them here so that the forgers don't get ideas, but if you ever paid close attention to a genuine Aramith Tournament set, you'll know what I'm talking about. The store I'm vouching for is ASKA Billiards. If you bought your Aramith Tournament set from any other place, I wouldn't be able to vouch for the authenticity, but this one I will.

The set was on a bit of a discount. They are top of the line balls - not absurd top of the line, but very very good. I am leaning pool. The calculation was spend about $60 more than I could for a fairly good ball set on the reasoning that I will probably never buy another set, and these will stay in excellent shape for decades or more. They really do have remarkable hard surfaces, brilliance and luster. And they are perfectly made.

Liking the change from white to black on the striped balls, although, it does take some getting use to.

Super high quality. Little getting used to for 8 ball with the black around the color instead of white, but great for 9 ball and 10 ball. Would Highly recommend
