Note:
This compass is designed for car, boat or watercraft and the reading is totally opposite to normal compass.
For example, when you are facing NORTH while the compass is placed in front of you, the reading shows "N" to you and "S" pointing north direction. The reading facing you is the correct direction that you are facing, that is "N".

Just found out my magnet for my Cel phone was throwing it off - took the magnet off and it worked just fine

JUNK!! Bought for use in my truck. Easy install on dash. Completely failed to function after only two days due to leakage of oil which also caused permanent stain on dash surface.

Compass isn't the most accurate, but don't expect much for the price. Be aware that there is no light on the compass if you intend on using it in the dark.

This is for decoration only!! Does not work and is a piece of junk. looks good thats about it. stay clear of this kind of compass.
