I purchased this " blanket" to protect my shooting partners wooden fence from errant arrows. We only shoot 25-30 pound bows at 10'13 yards but even at these low weights field-tipped arrows do some damage when the target is missed. Naturally, that damage is going to accumulate. This blanket absorbs the flyers and so far has shown no signs of wear or penetration. It definitely does the job.

Great quality product this back drop really works and stopped my arrow from going all the way through I’m shooting a PSE compound bow set at 45 pounds with target tips also want to think the supplier for supplying the zip ties and please do not try to use regular tarps they will not work I even spent $70.00 on a heavy duty welding fireproof one and my arrows went through it like paper so spend the extra money on the right product this is the best way for safety and peace of mind believe me I know

After using it a couple times in my backyard I can really tell you that this really saves you money, I don’t miss much but when your bolt hits the solid cinder block you can kiss your carbon fiber shaft goodbye. For test purposes I fired right at it and reminder keep it loose or your arrow will penetrate. It works great!

It is working well for us. We have our archery range set up indoors inside of a metal building. I would hate to poke a hole in the wall. We have the fabric hung about 6 inches in front of some hay bales. It stops my arrows flawlessly but I shoot a 35 pound bow. My husband shoots a 70 pound bow and he has managed to make 2 holes in the fabric but neither arrow made it past the metal tip. Last year we just used the hay as a backstop. It is a pain to try to locate an arrow buried in an 800 pound hay bale.

This is an example of a product that I didn’t know existed, and so I tried to basically make my own versions of this with old mattresses and cardboard and plywood however, you might not believe it, but this is a little bit better looking, more aesthetically, pleasing, then the weird things that I built. It’s great to have this for peace of mind, should you get the yips all the sudden and accidentally release your arrow a little too high or a little too left or right, it gives me a lot more confidence.

I've been using this as a Throwing Knife backstop and it's been perfect for this. It barely shows any wear and should last a long. I'm very happy with it.
