I love this post. As a new homeowner, installing these sorts of necessities can be cumbersome. I was able to accomplish the task in about an hour. Leveled easily, and all included hardware made the job simple.

Not much else to say if you buy this one you'll never need another. Onlike wood that rots away this is solid aluminum and sturdy built to last a lifetime. Buy it I promise you'll love the ease of installation. Just buy the 80lb bag of concrete to make sure this thing ain't moving and your set for a xxxxl mailbox or just your regular old small one this fits um all, ABCD.

Went through two wooden mailbox posts in three years. I have cameras in front of my house, I'm pretty sure the first time I got hit was a drunk driver. The second time was someone trying to turn around. At the end of the day, this entire Tubular frame is hollow. It takes approximately two bags of cement to fill the entire post and I promise you, if anyone hits your mailbox they will have just as much of an inconvenience as you. It is solid!

Very nice mailbox and post, BUT the specs and instructions said it should be mounted on a 4x4" pressure-treated post. Now everybody knows a 4x4 is actually 3.5x3.5. When I mounted the mailbox on the post, I noticed that there were tabs on the mailbox base which logically should have gone inside the post, but they only fit outside the post. And guess what? The inner dimension of the post was 3.25x3.25. Too small for a 4x4 post! They manufactured the post too small.I actually solved the problem in a clumsy way by partly filling the post with concrete and embedding it in a pool of more concrete in the ground. Not optimal.A pro tip to the manufacturer: measure twice, cut once.

It upgrades your mailbox post, all the others in the neighborhood look old and a bit tired, this post looks like I paid alot for itI spray painted a simple mailbox black to match, and attached it to this post.. looks like a pro did it !
