Daughter is a size 7, ordered a medium, it's slightly large but I think it's the correct size for her. She stays warm and dry, plus we haven't lost a single pair of snow pants this year! It's been a well used purchase, I have since ordered for my 11yo too.

This snow suit fit as we hoped. It is the same pretty purple as in the pictures. She loves it a lot....until she has to run to the bathroom. (But she has that figured out.) The advantages of the one piece construction far outweigh any disadvantages. I have no trouble picking her out on the bunny hills, with all that purple going on. This suit keeps her warm and dry no matter how many tumbles she takes. I have all these videos of this ball of purple rolling or spread-eagling in a cloud of white crystals but, hey, she is improving - she gets up so fast now. And her snowsuit is holding up to it all without a problem.
