My 8 year old loved the thumb holes on the inner liner, the material is a bit more repellant than some of the cheaper brands, great coat and loved the variety of colors to choose from!

My son wears a size 7 and I ordered this in an 8 for layering. It is more suitable for my daughter who wears a size 8 to layer with. So I would say order true to size.We have used Arctix coats for our other children and it has become our brand of preference for kids and adults. The clothing are always well made, warm, and hold up for multiple children. This appears to be the same for this coat. It is nicely designed with handy inclusions of the sleeve cuffs, handy pockets and zippers that work smoothly and without catching. This arrived right before a big storm and both of our youngest have tried it and agreed it was much warmer than the non-Arctix coats.I wasn't sure I would like the design based on the photo but it actually looks much better than shown in the picture.

I ordered this for my 7-year-old. I recommend you actually measure your child just like the listing explains on the size chart which is what I did. If I went by their small which shows in the graph that would be an 8 or so this probably wouldn't be big enough. That is what I normally would have ordered, but since they explain the measurements with the sizes I did the extra step. Once I did that I decided to choose a medium for my son which would have been a 10/12. If you don't measure your child and you just go off of a typical size that you are used to buying you will probably order something too small. Everybody has different sizes or ideas what a size is, so I really appreciate the measurement chart. Anyway, for my 7-year-old son who's pretty big for his age, the medium fit perfectly with a little extra room for growth. It's a well made jacket and really sharp looking. It's very warm, and the zipper works well. (Zippers can make or break a jacket If they put on a cheap one). You can adjust the wrist area to make it a little tighter. On the inside there is one pocket to store items. This isn't a snowboarding jacket since it doesn't have the guard part at the bottom to block snow from getting in. Just in case you think the name of the jacket implies that it has that. We are really pleased with this jacket, but please follow the instructions and measure your child so you're not disappointed. Or just order a size bigger than what you normally do.

The size is good, but the flawed hood makes the hood not sit right. So many loose strings. I think I might have just got a lemon.

Primero: el diseño es bonito, la prenda parece de buena calidad.Segundo: la prenda que recibà es diferente al publicado. El color del forro interno del gorro difiere del que se aprecia en la foto de la publicación. Asimismo, el color externo del gorro es diferente. En la foto el gorro es negro , pero el de la prenda que recibà tiene un detalle en azul en toda la periferia.Por esas razones he devuelto la chamarra. Pues no es leal la empresa en enviar el diseño que publica, sino que se envió un diseño similar.
