This tool is sturdy and very well made. It was easy to use to measure the outside brake pad. There was some difficulty measuring the inside portion of the brakes. I don't have the capability to put my car on a lift so I don't know if I had that capability if it would have been easier. One last recommendation is to provide diagrams showing how to measure in the event the user has difficulty . I talked to my local mechanic when I got my car inspected and he uses the same tool.

Seen many others w less measurements on them for more, these are plastic but are durable don’t feel like they’ll snap too easy or fall apart from eachother, so many measurements make it nice to record brake mm life left even when it’s got plenty , nice

I use it at work when I inspect brakes. If the pad is still mounted, this is the way to check how worn they are. Useful for a quick number to tell a customer that their brakes need to be changed.
