Prior to this purchase I owned two other pair of Ariat boots. Both pair are standard work boots that have been very durable. The last pair of casual footwear I purchased were Twisted X. While they were comfortable the heel cup in the shoe was plastic and broke quickly. I have been looking for a comfortable pair of shoes for casual wear. I chose the Recon Country Moccasin for style and on visual appeal. When they arrived, they were as ordered. The leather is thick, yet flexible, uniform in apperance and well stitched. The heel cup is rigid leather, not plastic, so more durable. The fit was fantastic. I order wide shoes for a wide foot and the fit was spot on. My 11 Wide often feels cramped. When I first put my new Ariat boots on, the fit was snug but not suffocating and the insoles offered just enough comfort that I feel I can walk in these all day. My last Ariat boots have lasted over 2 years so far and have more life left to give. These boots feel like they are built to last. Ariat boots offer great workwear and now I can attest to the quality of their casual footwear.

I really like these shoes. There really wasnt any break in period because they fit well and were comfortable right out of the box. Sizing was perfect as well.

I just received these boots and they’re exactly what I wanted. I was hesitant to get the wide at first, but if your foot is the least bit wide, get the wide in your size. The toe box is small, but the wide takes care of it. They look and feel amazing, so we will have to test them out and see how durable they are.

This is my 2nd pair of these and I love them. I wear them everyday on the construction site and my 1st pair lasted a year and a half which is unusual for me. Very comfortable also, my feet don’t hurt after a long day of being on them.

These are such a great boot! Easy to dress up or just wear casually. They fit the exact size as your Ariat boot size. 10/10!

I’ve really enjoyed these boots for the 6 weeks I’ve had them, the fit and look is awesome. But I noticed today that the sole is separating from the upper. I’m two weeks beyond my return period, and apparently I’m just out $150. I just wear them to work in my office job, so they aren’t worked hard. Would appreciate help with a return and will change my review if I’m taken care of.

Normally I take shoes size7 , I bought pair size 7.5 it was too narrow at lace opening. My foot does not go in but plenty of space in the shoe. I bought other styles before and I like the quality.I will return the pair.
