Initial review -- just short of 1 monthI use these boots to walk an active blackmouth cur 2-3 miles per day over a combination of sidewalk and occasionally steep rolling grass.The sole is firm. These boots aren't sneaker comfy, but they feel good and solid under the feet. Well suited to a lengthy ramble.The uppers aren't as high as they seem in the photo but ankle support is nevertheless very good. These boots help keep me upright when the dog is pulling the leash on a hillside.Waterproofing checks out: feet stay dry in tall grass right after a rain. May end up getting warm in summer but probably not intolerable.Very handsome looking boots.At first crack I love these! I don't think I'd take them on trails as they're "too nice" and also not knobby in the tread at all. But for frequent recreational walking they're doing great so far.Will check back at 6 months and a year to see how they hold up.

So far so good. They are light and comfortable. They are durable and have lots of grip. I like the design and color as well. Very good price definitely would recommend.

These are my favorite barn/riding boots. I wear a man's EE and this is the only place to find my size. The waterproof Terrains really hold up to daily barn wear. Through mud and muck, these boot last. The soles are thick enough that you don't feel every little bit of gravel as you do in the thin soled traditional paddock boots. The tread on the bottem is just right for riding and hiking. These are comfortable all day long. There are matching half chaps too. I have three pair now. On the oldest pair the leather on the side by my little toe has cracked after many years of abuse. My second pair are a women's B width and are just too tight for all day wear. This new pair fits great. So nice to find the wide size!

These fit perfectly. They keep my feet dry all day long from early morning dew on tall grass and even mud and puddles of water often found around the stable . Especially nice in winter where wet socks make me miserable.I can walk and ride in these comfortable enough. I punish them in harsh conditions and they clean up easily on a daily basis. They do wear out the stitching and bust open on the top below the laces after about 6 months while the rest of the shoe is still in great shape, that spot could be reinforced and they would last much longer . Also they are priced too high for Chinese made shoes but so are most shoes with huge profits and poorer quality. So I only get them when the price is reduced.

I have worn this boot brand and style for several years and always happy with the fit. Most comfortable boot and easy to break in boot. The fit is always spot on

Ariat has some nice products...this boot is no less...The size tends to run a little on the smallish side....I wear a 12D comfortably but had to go a size up with this boot...
