These boots exceeded my expectations. I previously purchased a pair of Chukka boots made by Arkbird and I was well pleased on all but one point. I should have treated the leather prior to wearing them. The leather has water spots, areas where the leather dye wore off as though they were splashed by bleach. When I got this pair of boots, I applied a heavy coat of mink oil prior to wearing them. I have since applied a second coat with excellent results. The boots are of excellent quality. Quality construction, quality leather and a very comfortable fit. I wore them 8 hours on the first day without foot fatigue. I have boots that I paid $250 for that are great boots but no better than the s pair that cost 1/3 that price. Buy these boots

Boots fit true to size for me. Like other reviews say, the leather softens up after a few wearings, and now feels great. The boots seem well-made, and leather feels like good quality (not cheap/fake). Only possible downside is that, like other reviews have said, they’re a little dressier than I expected—they’re actually very nice-looking! Can wear with nicer jeans, khakis, or a little bit dressier. Would buy again, and would buy other Arkbird shoes/boots.

My husband was looking for some boots like this and we bought multiple pairs to compare fit, quality, and style. These are the pair we ended up keeping. They are true to size, very comfortable, and go with so many different outfits. He also like the zipper, making it easier to put on than having to lace them up every wear. Definitely a great and functional product.

got these boots as a brown option for my hunnie and he loves them! they look great dressed up at night and dressed down during the day! he said they are really comfortable and true to size

I’ll be using this boot as part of a World War One US Doughboy uniform. It is a fairly close approximation of the 1917 Pershing Marching Shoe, but with a modern sole rather than hobnails, which would be unsuitable for what I’d be using this shoe for. Much more cost effective than modern reproductions of the 1917 Pershing shoe, which are at least twice the price of this very nice boot.

These are really soft leather boots that look great. I returned them because they are a bit narrow and a bit taller than I was looking for. But they feel like a higher than average quality leather boot. I have felt thicker leather before, but these are not bad.

Great boots but the metal piece that holds the lace will eventually break because it is so thin. Wouldn’t get again
