Just finished setting this up. Installation went very smoothly, I had the angle and mounting bracket installed while the unit was still charging. When the unit is charging, the LED power indication initially comes up and then goes out. I wasn't sure if the unit was charging, dead, etc. I gave it a good hour and decided to try set up. Set up went smoothly and indicated during the set up that the battery was at 95%. The unit also comes with wiring to allow it to be run off your door bell wiring but in my case, the door bell is not in a good location so I'm going to go with the built-in battery. Will be interested to see how long it lasts.Picture quality is very good and is still very good even with the outside lights off. This is at 9 pm in January and looking out the side windows I would describe things as black as we have no street lights where I live.Setup took me a while to get through. I thought I was finished but had apparently missed some steps. A little playing around and I got those missing steps and the setup completed. All in all it was pretty painless and I'm not deducting any points. The unit also automatically updates itself during the setup process. Connecting to my home WiFi went smoothly.
