I usually get another brand but it was lost for a while. Problems I have with some armature wire is that it is coated with an oil that causes the clay to lift and be a problem. I have to really wash the wire first and dry it so that all the oil is removed. The clay will not stick if there is oil on the armature wire. So, having a product that is strong, holds its shape and doesn't noodle easily is good. Having clean wire that doesn't need to be really cleaned with dawn dish soap or something, followed by alcohol, makes life easier and less of a worry.The value is pretty good for this wire in a reduced quantity. I didn't want to order a bunch if it was going to be awful to work with or seriously counter productive. This is pretty good. Fast delivery and I needed it a week earlier. This arrived next day as promised.5 stars

The package DID come with a bend in the middle, which a lot of artists don't care for. I haven't made it to that bit, but probably will soon. The bend is probably going to cause a few issues, but I can say that me in particular, I will find a way around it. Despite the bend, I have to say, I love this wire! It's exactly the size I needed for my models, and I know when I'm out of what I got, I will definitely be buying more! It's easy to cut, and not too hard that I can't put a tiny divet when attaching more wire. (The little divet lets me wrap wire without the fear of it sliding down the bigger wire.) I hope I have helped anyone for the future! Feel free to ask any questions, I always try to respond within 24 hours. (I work at night, so I usually get to it in the mornings.)

My son is teaching himself to sculpt. This product helps bring his art to life. I can't compare to other products because this is his first product. But, it made a huge difference in the he stability if his pieces.

Using as heavy wire in a spinning sculpture. Works perfectly, bends but is supportive of the structure, and also adds the weight I needed for balance.

Really really pliable. Sometimes a little difficult to work out the previous bends in the product. Additionally, when I used pliers, the coil became riddled with little dents from the pliers, taking away the outer coating. I am an amateur with wire and was just using this wire to build my bf a nice gift, but the final project looked very nice, although this wire may be too soft if you are looking for something to support weight of any kind.
