I saw a video with this addition to somebody's Eureka Mignon grinder and when somebody else asked about it, they linked here. I had to go get one. I've loved my Mignon Facile grinder, but the one frustrating element has been the tiny hard-to-fine-adjust fineness knob. Making a really small nudge can make a noticeable difference in grind, but it can be hard to make such a small adjustment with the small knob. This new knob is larger and also shows the degree of adjustment more clearly and granularly on the much larger included indicator that surrounds the hopper. I've found it far easier now to make exactly the adjustment I need to get from, say, slightly too coarse so that I'm getting a 17 second shot to just right in the 25-35 second range. I can more precisely move it the right degree to get to my desired result.Besides the great increase in functional utility, this mod is solid, made out of a quality painted aluminum that feels nice and will last along with this well-built grinder. It also looks great. The printing on the knob and the large indicator is attractive and clean and easy to read. It makes the grinder look a lot better. I've paired it with a single-dosing bellows attachment that replaces the big bulk hopper and the whole thing looks great.There are replacement knob projects available on the various 3D printing model websites. I've tried two of those and they looked OK, but those tend to slip over the existing knob and require attachment of a separate arrow to point to the coarseness number. I was never able to get the slip-over knob to securely attach -- rather, it would sometimes slip and make adjustment uncertain. Also, the plastic isn't as solid and doesn't look as nice. This alternative aluminum upgrade uses a complete replacement for the knob so it won't slip. It turns the grinder mechanism exactly as the original knob, but with the larger visual and easier control.If you have any of the Eureka Mignon models that are compatible with this upgrade, I highly recommend it.

Very pretty and functional upgrade for my Eureka mignon facile. Gives myself a number for each coffee bean. Also gives the grinder a more premium feel. Install only takes about a minute, but you will have to re calibrate the 0 point on your grinder whenever you clean your grinder now. Also, you’ll have to dial in your beans when you first install this. Nate answers all questions right away. For that, and the high quality, I will give it a 5. In regards to the aluminum. I don’t doubt it is aluminum, but it feels like the faceplate is plastic. So I wouldn’t buy this solely to get an “aluminum look†to match the aluminum body of your grinder. That said; the lazer engraved numbers are likely higher precision and class than the competitors, and the dial itself is certainly aluminum. I like it and am having fun playing with the settings.

This is a must-have modification to adjust the Eureka Mignon for more accurate grind adjustments. Fantastic build quality and MUCH better than the Etsy 3-d printed plastic accessories. The dial crown was very easy to install in just 5 minutes: Remove the existing knob dial, zero out the burr, put on the plate, and done. The dial knob is also larger than the stock one, so it's much more satisfying to turn. The packaging is also very well designed.Definitely worth the money. 5/5 Recommend

broke down and purchased this item for eureka chrono grinder which i converted to an espresso grinder by replacing the 50mm filter burrs that came with the machine, for 50mm espresso burrs made by eureka. after wasting a pound or so coffee beans trying to dial in my espresso, recognized it would make my life alot easier if i just purchase this item for my grinder.device works and is easy to install, only takes about 3/4 of an hour, but what's the rush. only snafu was the small dial knob. the internal threads of the knob were not made during mfr. company promptly sent me a properly threaded one. good company service. now i am a happy camper with a good espresso grinder.

Included knob dimensions do not work with Specialita. Due to the shorter height, when it is installed and turned for a finer grind, it hits the grind size indicator bump on the top of the grinder's face plate. See photos. Very disappointed.As others have reported, this item is advertised as being aluminum. However, it is mostly 3D printed plastic, with some thin aluminum overlays.

I have a Eureka Mignon Specialita grinder. The biggest complaint is the adjustment knob. this product fixes that entirely. One thing i noticed about installation is before you put the dial around the hopper find your zero. You will have to redial in your grinder as taking off the knob opens up the burrs quite a bit. After you find your zero then carefully place the big wheel around the hopper aligning the zero notch. Make sure that the big wheel is all the way down or the gears might not turn properly.This tool makes it easy for me to keep track of the bean grind settings.

I recommend you to get this accessory for your Eureka Mignon as soon as possible. It will be very useful specially at the beginning when you are dialing in.

The large dial and indicator are a great addition to the Mignon line of grinders. However, when I first installed it as the directions state, the knob would hardly turn, especially down towards the zero burr setting. I had to uninstall it all and use a tap and die set to clean up the threads inside the knob and now it’s buttery smooth all the way down. It appeared like the external black finish that is on the knob is also applied to the inside threads, making it too tight to turn.

De standaard dial op de mignon zero is klein en moeilijk af te lezen. Kleine aanpassingen zijn hierdoor moeilijk. 2 upgrades mogelijk: deze van Aro of de Eureka king size dial. De kingsize van eureka vind ik minder duidelijk en met dat plakstripje… neh.Deze van Aro past perfect, met installatievideo doe je deze upgrade in 2 minuten.Knop draait mooi, fijne grote schaal nu, perfect afleesbaar. Geheel voelt solide aan en ziet er naar mijn mening top uit.Mignon grinder trouwens ook een dikke aanrader!!

The dial on the mignon grinders have always been the weak point as diallling in was always a bit of an overshoot/undershoot problem and made even more of a problem if you vary beans between runs.This solves the problem well, you can easily mark in the zero point and then finding out the settings and moving back and forth from them for different beans is easy and accurate.It's a bit expensive to be honest for what it is, but I would go as far as to say if you have a mignon style grinder and you change beans regularly then this is an essential upgrade.Fitting couldn't be easier for most machines, but on the perfetto which I have its a little trickier but can be done even though it is not officially supported, you just need to get the perfetto dial off and there are instructions out there to follow (it doesn't take that long, but you need needle nose pliers).
