ARO-Flo Filter-Regulators, or "Piggybacks" combine the functions of both filter and regulator. Piggybacks are compact and most effective when space is constrained. Piggybacks can be ordered with different filter elements and can be modified with different springs, depending on the filtration and air regulating requirements.

Just installed on my IR air compressor. Seems well made and is very repeatable when the input pressure is turned off and back on again. I purchased the Wall mount bracket and secured it to the wall using the bracket and by clamping the input/output piping. Have used it for a week and far so good. My only complaint is that I had to spend another $28 for a wall mount that cost less than a dollar to make. I think it should have been included with the regulator. I would have given it five stars if it had come with the bracket.

The regulator seems like it is a great product, I was dissapointed when it did not come with a simple sheet metal mounting bracket. When I went to purchase one, the ARO brand cost more than 31 dollars before tax and shipping for a very simple bracket. . . Well I guess I will make one myself. knock 1 star off for that dissapointment and lack of product description. . .

I've had this little regulator for about a year. I havn't had any problem with it. I've ran sanders, nailers and other air tools in my woodworking shop all winter and have had no moister problems. Has a toggle on the bottom that makes it simple to drain, usually after I finish for the day. Easy to adjust the pressure and has enough volume to run any of the tools I use with a 3 HP. 60 Gal. compressor.

the only reason I give 4 stars is I feel the AL is a little soft when threading steel pipe into it I was a little scared, but it survived and has lasted a year in my NOT HEATED OR COOLED shop in IA, and regulated the air almost perfectly, I have a second gauge so I can check to makes sure this is working right.It catches all sorts of crap. I have 10 feet of copper line and a water drain between the compressor and this unit, so not a lot of water gets to the trap, but it does collect a lots of rust and other crap. If you plump this unit in, MAKE SURE you have some distance in between the compressor and this unit or the water vapor wont cool enough to condensate on the filter element.I'm sorry IR RAND, but I have to change my rating from 4 stars to 1 star after 3 years of owning this regulator. The Plastic drip dray has developed cracks and leaks air, really badly. It started a year ago, and now has progressed to the point that it is unusable. I will be replacing it with the basic IR rand air regulator, with out the filter.

These combo regulator / filters are just the ticket! Apparent quality is high (as you would expect from IR) and they work great. No complaints whatsoever.

Good quality item. It feels much higher in precision that the one it replaced. Note that this does not come with the mounting bracket so I had to fab one. Also, the gauge is quite small so if you have vision issues it may not be the best choice.

So far I’m very pleased. This 1/2†unit is made solid, the built in regulator is accurate and I have no difficulty in reading the gauge. RECOMMENDED UNIT
