I needed some cheap brushes and my daughter wanted watercolors, perfect item. We knew this was a cheap item not expecting anything substantial especially when I saw how bright the colors on the pallet are. I was shocked when my daughter tested the paint, the colors were as bright on paper as they are on the pallet. We expected the color to barely show on the paper.The dry paint feels like a cake of fine sand. We are new to water colors so I have no idea what this means. These are practice water colors so I doubt I buy these when she takes the watercolor class. Of course I can’t tell you how durable the colors are we just received the paint today. Will it last, will it fade, only time will tell.I think this is good for playing around with art at the very least.

I'm new to lettering and have begun being interested in painting letters with street colors and brushes as well as using my brush pens. I was amazed at how rich and deeply pigmented these watercolors are. These were VERY inexpensive so I did NOT expect them to be so rich in color! I'm no professional painter but these colors are so rich and juicy.. that's the best word i can come up with. At use that adjective to describe a great brush pen and these paints are just beautiful! I have a NEW HOBBY! I thought i would only want to do lettering with these paints, but now I'm truly interested in learning how to paint using watercolors! Great product for beginners and I think they'd be great for more experienced artists!

Overall I'm not one to complain. The paints and brushes look really nice & I got them as a gift for a family member. When they arrived I noticed some of the circular paint disks had fallen out of their space, and since this was a gift, I had to open the product to arrange and put the paints back in their correct places. No big deal, just something to be mindful of.

I bought this for our homeschool art class and it is definitely worth the little extra money. We compared these with a cheaper brand from a big box store and this Aroic brand definitely outshined the other. The colors are so much brighter and vibrant, not to mention there are many more to choose from. We are all just beginning our journey in watercolor art, but this is money well spent. The extra brushes are a nice little bonus, too!
