The Aromatic Salt Premium Ceramic Neti Pot by Into the Scented Garden was thoughtfully designed to make the nasal wash easy and comfortable. Why Use a Neti Pot The inner nose is designed with complex passageways lined with small hairs and hairlike structures and a sticky mucus layer. These structures and their mucus lining warm and cleanse the inhaled air before it enters deeper into the delicate respiratory system. Rinsing the nostrils with warm salted water is a natural and effective traditional practice which cleanses the nostrils of pollen, dirt and excess mucus for comfort, easy breathing, and better sinus drainage. Because the sinuses drain to the upper nostrils, sinus sufferers report that using a neti pot and warm salt water to rinse their nostrils and clear the sinus openings in the upper nostrils can provide relief of symptoms. Allergy suffers use the neti pot to rinse away pollen, dirt, and excess mucus for symptom relief especially during pollen season. Many people have discovered that they enjoy rinsing their nostrils with warm salt water and a neti pot as part of their daily hygiene routine. Why Use Our Neti Pot The Aromatic Salt neti pot by Into the Scented Garden makes the nasal rinse easy and comfortable. It is lead-free, hygienic, and it can be washed in the dishwasher or by hand. The smooth tapered spout fits comfortably in the nostril and the comfortable handle is solid for easy, complete and thorough cleaning. It’s easy and comfortable to use, lead free, dishwasher safe, and it’s good looking, too! Recommended for use with a saline solution made with distilled or sterilized water and salt. I got this because I occasionally used the drugstore plastic neti pot, and I was wondering if I am doing more harm than good to my body by pouring hot water into the plastic and injecting into my nose! This ceramic one is much classier, and I can put it in either microwave or the dishwasher for cleaning. It doesn't come with a lid, so you have to stir salt with a spoon or something instead of shaking the pot. I am pretty happy with my purchase, but on my last visit to the minute clinic for a routine cold, the lady said I have to be careful with Neti Pots not pushing the stuffed nose stuff back inside, specially if I have an infection. Now I am torn for using it when I have a cold, but on normal days, it is a nice tool. YMMV, and thanks for reading.

I have to say, this is a great one! My wife and I liked it so much we bought 2 more to stash away. Seems when you find something you like, by the time you need to replace it, you cant find one again. That's how much we liked it, so we're covered now - ha! The inner diameter of the hole in the spout end is 5.51mm or 0.217" so you get a nice water flow, not a weak trickle. I'll see if I can add a photo later to demonstrate how the natural shape of the pot creates enough pressure to pour at an angle even - impressive. The spout tip is very nicely shaped, has a gently sloped finger tipped shaped end not pointy like some I've seen in a lot of them. The spout should fit in the outside of your nostril area like a hip joint or shoulder ball joint lays in the intended socket, not rammed inside your nose. Unless that's your personal preference I suppose. I noticed one person in the reviews said it was too big and didn't fit 'inside'? Ouch! The skin of your nostrils make for a good seal to this shape so it won't leak or dribble. It holds easily a cup of water mix, more than enough. When tilted the angle and design forces the water out 'very' nicely. You don't need to tilt your head sideways with this one, just a slight angle. The advantage to this one for me was it didn't sting or was anywhere near as uncomfortable. I was one of those people who felt like they were drowning in a swimming pool and my wife thought it was funny, but not with this one! I realize now the warm salt solution was going to far back into my nasal cavity and that's why it either stung or hurt - it was going too far back almost to my throat. The warm water should rise in your nose then flow up & over out the other side and it doesn't take much. The handle's solid, so no cleaning there to do. It's great for the fingers so you don't drop it. The color's very nice like a very pale green creamy tone - very tasteful. I just can't say enough good things, so I thought I'd share. We were so tired of trying to find a good one to replace ours, and here it is. At $14 it's a steal compared to more expensive ones. Nice job guys & gals!!!

I've been doing nasal irrigations for many years. I started with the various powered pump products (think Waterpik but for the nose) and eventually settled on a ceramic neti pot. When I broke that, I used a plastic one for a while, but I'm trying to reduce my plastic usage, so I decided to try a ceramic one again. I picked this one because it has a solid handle, and I didn't want to try cleaning a hollow handle.I've been surprised by how much I like this neti pot. The handle is truly solid (there isn't even an indentation in either place where it joins the body). The finish is very smooth and actually repels water, causing it to dry very quickly (which prevents mold). The spout is a nice size and is well-finished, so it fits easily in the nostrils without irritating the skin. Most of all, though, the shape of it causes the water to flow extremely well, without me having to angle my head in all kinds of strange ways. With my previous neti pots, I always had to lean my head far to the side (practically into the sink), which caused a recurring problem with pressure and sharp pains in my left ear. With this one, I just tilt my head slightly, and the water flows right through, exactly the way it should. I highly recommend this neti pot to anyone who does nasal irrigations.Note to the seller: The only thing I didn't like about this order was the single-use plastic in the packaging. The neti pot came in a nice cardboard box that didn't need anything around it, but instead it was wrapped in single-use plastic wrap. Inside the box, the neti pot was cushioned with a piece of plastic-containing foam. You could easily replace that with a paper-based cushioning wrap and lose the plastic outer wrap. Those would be easy changes that would make this product be plastic-free -- helping the environment and appealing to the increasing number of people who are reducing their plastic usage. Please consider making those changes. Thank you!

Heard of neti pots for a long time, but just got around to trying one. I chose this one in particular because it is real ceramic glazed, which can be sanitized well, and the handle is not hollow, which means no reside trapped. The nose tip is very smooth and does fit against the nostril-not in it. It was not at all harsh on my sore nose. I thought the hole in the top might let water pour out when tipped, but it doesn't. I tried it in the shower first because I didn't know what to expect in the flow. It is very gentle, so over the sink works just fine. No splashing, no running down the shirt by angling the neck and head, one finds the position where flow begins and easy peasy into the sink. I have a dry nose and post nasal drip which makes me cough at night. I don't want to live on cough medicine, so I thought I would try this. Wow! After two treatments, I slept without that nagging cough! So that sold me. The flow is gentle, all easy to prepare, use, and clean up. Kind of like a teapot for the nose, it's easy to use as making a cup of tea.
