As with all ARP stuff, it is very good! I think that most people expect a gasket with this, when that is not the case. Seeing as how there are several different types (thicknesses) of gaskets, this one is simply saying it is designed for use with a 1/4 gasket. Not the paper 3/16th one, not for use with spacers, but the 1/4 gasket.

As usual; ARP makes top notch stuff. I try to use their fastening kits whenever possible. These studs and nuts work so flawlessly that I never have to worry about them failing or losing torque. Just made too damn good!

3 out of 4 studs were perfect, one of the studs(smaller one) was fused together, trying to remove the nut caused cross threading and ultimately became useless. Had to use one of the original studs and nut

ARP 2002413 Quadrajet Carburetor Stud Kit with 1/4" Base Gasket ... that is what it says but no gastet !!!!! rip off studs alone ar 1/2 that price at a parts store dont trust what the add here says!!!!!
