I did a timing chain replacement on my 1984 Ford F150, with the 302 engine.This bolt is tightened to yield (meaning the bolt stretches when fully tightened to the 45 ft-lbs it needs)So if you get distracted and re-use the camshaft bolt, you're going to have a bad time. Trust me.

I always change out the Cam bolt to ARP fasteners! These a cheap insurance against bolt failure!
