I have been purchasing ARP bolt sets for a long time. Many yeas back they were often the only company to create certified strength bolt kits for some applications and also have some notoriety for their quality which I have trusted on many of main cap bolts and head bolts. In this particular case I purchased there for the lower intake manifold on my 4.3l 2000 GMC Jimmy without much thought. For reasons unknown to me I got the idea I should look around and did find another name brand I trust had this bolt set for significantly cheaper. I do like and trust ARP, but in this case the other company's product is just as trusted in my book and was a high enough savings to sway me.
