Pivot balls gain slop rather quickly when bashing a Granite at 40+ mph. But the adjustability gained over the static stock camber/tie-rods very much outweighs the inconvenience of tightening up the holes for the pivot balls.

My original ones wore out fast, but yet again I beat my RC kind of hard so I figured go with the original replacements as I didn't want to bother with custom fitting aftermarket parts. So far so good. I keep it all cleaned and lubed in between runs so the pivot balls dont wear so quick.
