I purchased these Arrow Fastener 60430 604 Wide Crown Swingline Heavy Duty 1/4-Inch Staples, for my old Sears Craftsman Heavy duty Stapler, model 96843 (as indicated on my stapler, but the "9" has been dropped since my purchase, so it is just "6843" now). I have looked all over for comparable brands that would work in this old staple gun and finally found it in this pack of 1000. I held my breath as I ordered hoping, first, that they would fit this stapler, and secondly, that the sleeves of staples weren't broken into pieces as I had read on several posts. I am very pleased as the staples work perfectly in my Craftsman staple gun and no sleeves of staples were broken in this pack. It may have been because the staples were packed in a box with other Amazon merchandise, but I can only surmise this. I am very pleased with these staples for use in this Craftsman staple gun, as I have been to many local retailers, buying several packs of different staples, but none fit this stapler. These work.....finally!!

I searched my local Home Depot and Lowes looking for wide crown staples for my Swingline stapler - none to be found. I was happy to find these available on Amazon. They fit the in stapler just fine and work as intended. The only downside is that almost every section of staples in the box is broken into 3 or more pieces. I assume this is due to the shipping process, and the box of staples gets thrown around a bit too much.

Not easy to find this size. Staples had no glue holding strips together. I used cheap wood glue that works great. If not, box of staples will fall into 1000 staple pile mess

Original staples were heavier Gauge. Evidently heavy staples are no longer available.

Box looked undamaged but the staples inside were broken apart as seen in photo. Someone likely tried to use them in a stapler that didn’t use this type and then returned them. No inspection on return and then sold again to me. Annoying.

Fitted perfect...Thank you Arrow . I spent a lot of time looking to see if I could find these for Swingline Electric Stapler model 34201 and I'm glade I won't have to throw it away. It's a great stapler.

Making cedar strip canoe, it is a challenge, and the pressure on the wood is sometimes incredible, These really do help keeping the alignment and gluing in control.
