I used the hotmelt for outdoor woodwork as expected. I hotmelt metal dowels to wood at ambient temperatures ranging from 30 to 100 F. The hotmelt held at the same ambient conditions without any failures.

It glues objects together using alien technology that nasa discovered while reverse engineering a spacecraft that crashed in the Nevada desert. I did, however, have to watch several YouTube videos to understand how the atoms came together to make two objects become one spiritually blessed unit living together in harmony. Mind blown

I had trouble finding this size glue stick to fit a glue gun that had belonged to my dad but this is it. These will last me a long time!

I used these hot glue sticks in my high temp hot glue gun and in my glue pot on low and high melt temperatures. I'm very impressed at how low these melt, and how sticky they stay when they're not magma. All temp glues I've used in the past do one or the other well. Some will melt low but get sticky when they're used high. While others will ooze from the hot glue gun at a high temperature. These don't have that problem. I noticed very little actually dripped from my glue gun while it was just sitting idly. I've had hot glue that if you forgot to unplug it, the whole stick would be on your desk if you got there too late. Now I know it wasn't the glue gun, it was the glue. In the glue pot it became liquid very fast, but like all hot glue had many strings. I found turning the temperature up got rid of the stringiness. If you use these at a low temp there's very little working time. I recommend using a glue pot for that, because it seems to stay workable for a few seconds more. Working at a high temperature gives you a lot of time to adjust and get it in the right position. Don't get overconfident because these glue sticks are so easy to work with you might burn yourself. These seem to get stickier at hotter temperatures. They also don't seem to "cure" because they melted down in my glue pot 5+ times. They don't seem to loose their stickiness being melted and cooled multiple times. It's a good deal for a lot of glue that'll last a long time.
