I bought one of these 25 - 30 years ago. Worked flawlessly until the day it mysteriously disappeared. Functioned so well that the current unit is an identical replacement. Seems to function okay, although I have only had it for a little while. What I notice is that the manufacturing quality of this stapler does not come close to the old one. Two halves of the stapler don't quite fit together. Edges of the parts, where they were punched out of the sheet of steel, are not smoothed at all, leaving somewhat sharp, scratchy edges on all the parts. Old one had a convenient lock. New one does not, so it is always cocked with no "safe" position. These are minor things, just disappointing to see the decline of quality of manufacturing in America over the years. Hope it functions as long and as well as the original.

I use this Arrow Junior Tacker Stapler to attach canvas to stretcher bars for oil painting. I've used truly heavy duty staplers for this purpose in the past and I was a bit worried that this lighter weight stapler might not be sufficient -- but it works just fine.The staples hold well and unless you're trying to staple through four layers of 12oz canvas this stapler is perfectly adequate for the task. I also find that it is very comfortable to use (I've had other staplers that gave me blisters). No jams or double discharges. Works perfectly every time. Unless you know you need the holding power and extra staple length that heavy duty staplers afford, I'd say you'll be pleased to use this one.

It works well. However, with y arthritic hands, the smooth stainless steel handle is somewhat slippery which makes it difficult for me to to operate with a weakened grip.

Great product has worked as staple gun for shade cloth on wooden slabs, in yard for over 20 years.Really good for smaller hands, and I felt i would have a backup in case old one ever decides to die.

Bon produit pour un agrafage de tenture ou de petit grillage sur bois, solidité au rendez-vous et pour avoir déjà une plus grosse agrafeuse de cette marque je pense que la durabilité sera aussi là .
