It is great to be able to turn a stereo balanced output into 5 independent stereo outputs. I am currently using this device at my church to... supply the mains, recorder, and nursery feeds. Even after adding a feed to overlay audio over our HDMI video I will still have a free distribution zone.This unit works great. There is no bleed-through or buzz and the output signal is very clean.Another great piece of ART gear.

I was nervous buying this since it wasn't a name I was familiar with however after using it I've been very impressed. Nice inexpensive way to add multiple XLR outputs to my setup.

Great mixer. I can only think of a single bad thing. I wish there was an overall input volume control for each of the 2 inputs. The VU meters on each distribution channel don't turn on until the volume hits a fairly high level, so it's hard to know if low volumes are even going through the mixer. After investigating quite a bit, i've found that the sound is going through the mixer even if the VU isn't hitting. I almost have to ignore the lights and assume it's working. Otherwise, this thing is fantastic. Set it and forget it, truly!

Clip LEDs never work no matter how much you push it. Output closest to the AC plug buzzes. Tried to contact ART customer service through email but got no response. Other than that it does what it says and looks nice. Not sure if I got a faulty unit or it's just how it is. :/Edit: Was 3 stars, now 1 because I've sent emails to 2 different departments at ART and gotten NO response. Defective product out of the box and zero customer service. Shame on you ART.

This was perfect for what I needed. It seems like quality construction. I used it to add extra stereo outputs to my digital mixer, so I could control studio monitors, studio mains (A & B), tracking room monitors, and a boom box, giving me multiple ways to monitor a mix. However, I ordered it early this summer (early June), and by August/September it had already developed a problem where it "leaks" signal through to Zone 4 (lights and all), even when the volumes are all the way down. Which leaves me with 4 zones, a bunch of LEDs flashing that shouldn't be, and a foreboding feeling for the future. And worse, it's kind of integrated into my system, so even if ART allows me to send it back, it's going to be a pain for me and my clients to be without it for weeks and have to wire around. Others here give great reviews, so it appears I may have just gotten unlucky. However, I also purchased an ART HeadAmp6 Pro at about the same time (from a different store), and it too has developed problems on channels 5 (diminished sound) and 6 (loud buzz). I've been an audio engineer for 25 years, and did all the necessary tests to make sure something else wasn't the problem. Perhaps ART's quality control is not what it once was? Too bad, because the designs of both products were perfect for my studio setup, and I was VERY happy with both products until the problems started developing. Now what do I do?Signed,Bummed Engineer

very useful. occasionally it clips all channels automatically. but overall it gives you great flexibility
