Installed my own putting green and need to clean off excess grass. Clippings and leaves. Rake works very good. Not great but very good

I bought this to get some down feathers out of my turf and it worked great. The 2nd time I used it to get bark out of the turf the locking feature that keeps the rake straight and firm broke. I didn't use unusual pressure on it either. So now the rake itself just spins on the end and it won't stay stable and straight. It's still usable but very annoying to try and keep the rake part level to accomplish the task. Disappointed.

Update to my original post:We are a couple of uses in and the handle has broken at th telescpoic junction. It appears that the plastic or phenolic used at the junction is brittle and cracked where the two pieces screw together.Another complaint is how the head attaches. It can only be attached to THIS handle. It’s designed to snap into place and the head can't be mounted to another handle if you wanted to. While the design is good, the material is subpar. Would I recommend a product meant for a one time use? NOPE! Consider yourself warnedInitial review:I told a friend of how my newer, high pile carpeting seemed to be matted down in our high traffic areas, despite vacuuming regularly and having regular cleanings. She recommended using a carpet rake. "You mean there are rakes designed for carpets?" Yes and this thing is a game changer. Very sturdy, well made, adjustable and very light. I am 6 feet tall with long arms and legs. The length fully extended is perfect. A 15 degree angle of the handle works best to get ALL of the tines of the rake into the carpet. While you may read that its designed for artificial turf, this thing also works well on regular carpet.High pile carpet fibers tend to twist around one another. I believe that over time, the fibers become slightly spread out and not unlike a sweater, develop frays. These frays wind themselves together, "matting" down the carpet. So, imagine this rake as more like a comb for your carpet. Instead of tangles and matted down carpeting, this rake untangles those fibers and actually rejuvenates your carpet. While it's not back to what it looked like new, it really gives a very noticeable difference. For those of you that clean your own carpets, I would suggest using this first; to lift and separate fibers for a better cleaning, then again afterwards; to re-separate the fibers, so that your carpet dries faster.VERY happy with my purchase and would recommend to all

I had just used a regular broom in the past to manage the bark that ended up on my turf. This is so much better.

This is a good product, but it isn't outstanding. The handle does not stay extended. It is very lightweight, however, and does not put a strain on the user.
