They are a great weight. I use watercolor brush pens, aqua markers, gel and ink and these hold up even with multiple layers of watercolor. they are smooth but not glossy and work excellent with pen plus they are just the right size for a daily sketch whether you make it easy or hard.

I personally love these art tiles. I use copic markers, colored pencils, and fineliner pens on them. The colors come out so vibrant. The copic markers do not bleed on these either. They do show through the back, but that’s all I have noticed. On other paper, my marker lines will fan and bleed where I don’t want them. With these I don’t have that issue. I like the thickness of these square tiles as well. They are pretty high quality! I would recommend them for any artist or crafter.

As good as official zentangle tiles at a fraction of the cost. Definitely a worthwhile buy!

These tiles are fantastic to use for zentangles and doodling. They are smooth, great to use with the Micron pens and various markers, and are thick enough to use both sides. They don’t tear or bleed the ink. Just fantastic! I’ve bought multiple sets already.

The tiles ate a good size. They are easy to manipulate. I think they don't absorb ink very well. I was using gel pen so maybe microns would work better.

I am an art teacher and I am using this tile set all the time. It's has a very nice quality, a paper is really stiff and white. I am writing on them a brief information about artists, movements, techniques, main tips for the lesson.
