SERIOUSLY, the best sketch pad ive ever owned!! smooth, and it takes charcoal and graphite like a champ, only one con and it's a small one, i personally wish it had perforated pages, so if you really like something you could tear it out with ease. However, if given the choice between amazing paper and a perforated edge, i will take the paper quality any day of the week.

I haven't bought that many sketch books but I just opened one of these large sketch book and it's a good product. The ring binding looks sturdy and the pages are strong takes alot of stress from storing it in my backpack but it takes it well. I like it alot. I think it's worth the money I have some nicer sketch books but they cost alot more money this is a good value and the book itself is pretty awesome for it's price.

Great paper thickness. Doesn't tear when you erase. Makes her better accuracy when drawing does not bleed through.

I write an on-going journal using fountain pens on a sketch pad and am usually troubled with lots of bleed-through with a 50-60 lbs pad or clogged pens due to the thickness and/or coating of an 80-100 lbs pad. As Goldilocks would say this 70 lb pad is "just right" for my pens - it doesn't bleed through even the blackest ink, yet the paper is relatively thin and very smooth - I can write with EF, BB, or italic nibs and anything in between. It will be my go-to pad as long as it's available

Decent paper for ink work, recognizing it definitely goes through to the other side, and does bleed a bit when laid down (it’s 70 lb paper after all)… but not too much, considering the price.I bought it for rough ink sketches, working through ideas, something I wouldn’t be precious about, and it meets that need perfectly. Nice and smooth too.When I work my way through the 100 sheets I’ll buy it again.Five stars because it’s exactly what I expected for $16.

Das etwas raue Papier ist zum zeichnen super geeignet und dick genug, dass Fineliner und sogar Edding nicht durchdrückt. Ich nehme die Blöcke gerne mit auf Reisen und die Spiralbindung so stabil, dass Blätter nicht ausreißen, wenn man es nicht möchte, aber sie trotzdem gut abreißen kann. Klare Empfehlung.
