You know, coming out the box I wasn’t sure the drain guard could handle the pressure of the situation. But shower after shower I gotta say, this guard is top notch at catching things and keeping my drain clean.I still can’t believe we got this guard for so cheap on the free market.

This was a prefect replacement for the shower drain cover on my Tile Redi shower floor pan. I paid $67 to Tile Redi for a matte black cover to replace the chrome one they ship with the pan. This one isn't matte, but it isn't glossy either, it only cost me $10, and it is metal, not the plastic I expected. I only really needed it because I dropped one of the screws from the original down the drain, but I think I'm going to buy several and stick them in my workshop for the future!

The contractors installing my new shower, overlooked the white drain I had picked out and purchased for my shower amongst the other building material. I specifically DID NOT want a silver/ chrome finished drain clashing with the champagne bronze plumbing fixtures I was having installed. I’m pretty picky about such things… well, they weren’t aware it was among the materials and went out, purchased a drain with a nickel face plate and concreted it in. A pretty permanent mistake. Needless to say I was panicking. After you invest that much money into top end plumbing fixtures you don’t want something like that taking away from the finished look. I was THRILLED to find this champagne bronze face plate. However I was worried because of all the reviews and pictures of finish peeling off!! Soooo happy to say I received the champagne bronze drain and it is gorgeous, amazing quality, fit perfectly, and has been installed for 4 months now, and it looks just as beautiful as it did the day it arrived. Matches my delta champagne bronze plumbing fixtures perfectly. So happy. Especially considering the price!!! Which also made me a bit nervous. But no, great purchase. Very, very satisfied.

I had to find some real aluminium black screws. Although it indicated #8 3/8 that didn't fit I had to take some 1/2.
