Had this shipped overseas as the flanges here that come with the garbage disposals are silver. Despite that I didn't hit the gold color exactly as needed, everything else is just great. I have been using it now for about 6 months and cannot see any difference, it is like brand new. I love it.

Looks great. Color was a perfect match for my apposo brushed gold faucet. I decided to test it before installing. I put the cap on and pressed it down all the way then filled it with water. It leaked all over the place. I had to send it back and bought one from Premier Copper Works instead. The brass is very shiny but looks rich and the build quality and design is better overall with the traditional strainer built in.
