It was cute. I liked the shape. It was perfect for Willy to grab and bite one end and kick the other.

The pens are surprisingly well made at a good price. They are as described in the catalog.

What I like the most is this product's affordability and performance.I tested these "fine line pens" against 3 papers(1 drawing paper:Canson; 1 marker paper:Canson and 1 cheap marker pad:Pacon) using a Sharpie highlighter. On the Canson drawing paper, the pigment lays smooth and there was a little smudge which would mean that I would have to give the pigment time to dry, something I have no issue with(not ideal for artists who likes to start laying their colors right away). On the Pacon marker paper, the pigment lays smooth (will streak if working too fast) and a slight smudge when running highlighter over it which means letting the pigment fully dry.On the Canson marker paper using 0.3mm fine line pen, the pigment lays smooth with a slight smudge using highlighter which means to give it a little bit more time to dry. I also tried the 0.8mm fine line pen and it did not perform as well as the 0.3mm fine line pen on the 1st use however, after breaking in the nib some it seemed to have performed like the 0.3mm fine line pen.Overall I give this 4 stars for being affordable with above average performance based off of the papers I've used. The main take away seems to be that the nib would need to be broken in some and also I would store it pen nib facing down for 3 to 15mins (depending on nib size) prior to use to get the nib fully saturated with pigment.Any CONS would be based off of user preferencesI hope this help anyone looking for an affordable fine line pen. :)

They are getting five stars from me for the stellar customer service they offer supporting their product. When I received these pens The shipping package and the product package were in pristine condition. However the 01 fine liner pen was completely Dry, and the cap on the 03 was heavily damaged which would have led to it drying out in a short time. After a brief back and forth with Art-N-Fly, they sent out new ones for me. I'm not sure if they sent out new replacements for just the two with issues or a whole new set but either way, I didn't expect this level of response from a company that manufactures Art supplies like markers and pens.I'll update this when I receive them. The fine liners themselves are smooth writing with little to no smell.I was quite impressed I've only gone over a few of my sketches with this but it cleans them up great after I erase the pencil. They dry fast enough that smearing and streaking on paper are not a problem and truth be told I mainly use standard A4 printer paper so not the greatest quality paper. I haven't noticed any bleed through with this paper as well there is a great variety of line weight with this set. I do have an issue with the packaging but for the price point that isn't even a factor I'll just break out the 3D Printer and throw something together that will work awesomely.

The ink seemed to go on the paper with half opacity, granted, I used these pens to re-ink a piece I had colored. These pens may not be great for wax-based media. I was also surprised when I used a blender pencil, only to find that the places I had inked with these pens began to smudge, leaving black marks when I pulled away from the lines.I wouldn't suggest these pens for wax-based media, at least. For simple inking as the final product, they seem to go on smooth with no bleed at all!I'm also not sure what others are talking about with the brittle nibs. I'm typically heavy-handed and didn't have a problem with the 005 size. Maybe I was gentle enough?

The 0.03 Art-n-Fly Fine Line Drawing Pen has become my new favorite for ultra fine-line work. I do a lot of line and wash and all on the lookout for very fine waterproof pens. I have tried a number of brands of pens with 0.05 nibs (SAKURA Pigma Micron, Staedtler, UniPen, etc), and the Art-n Fly, while not only smaller, has proved to be my favorite. The ink is a solid black the blends well with other black inks. What sets this pen apart is the durability of the nib, consistency line, and the ability to create a pseudo-drybrush effect when held off-angle. I plan on reordering and would recommend to others

I have been trying every thinliner i can find. Some let out too much ink at the beginning but not this one. The Art n Fly produces a very fine line and works great for writing in my bible. Their white ink pen is super great for erasing marks or writing that i want to change without globs of ink coming out the pen. I have ordered this multiple times. It is high quality and does not dry out as quickly as other fine liners have done. I saw reviews where they said it ran out of ink however, i believe that the tiny canal of ink may have dried and got clogged - because i was able to get the pen writing again after slight heat or multiple attempts to write started the ink flowing again. Hope that helps.

The colours of these pens are slightly less intense and more "organic" feeling than the Microns that I've been using. These colours will resonate well with watercolours or fountain pen inks. A test shows that the pens are completely and instantly waterproof. Some shadowing is visible on thinner Japanese type papers, but no bleed through unless the ink is applied on wet paper.

Consigliate!
