Perfect size for changing pot lights to pendulum lights. 7 inches is the perfect size to cover existing hole. There was no company that had them in black, so I purchased in white and had them sand-blasted and powder-coated black. Worked well as made of high-quality metal. Well packaged.

I was looking for one that matched my light. This seemed to work although it is not exactly the same match. I decided to re-stain it to match. It turned out beautifully. Excellent wood product!

Its a good canopy piece with lots of connecting hardware. For the life of me, I can't understand why the cutout in the top is so small, though. There is just enough room to use its anchor, absolutely nothing for wire routing. If you're dealing with a low profile ceiling box, and not just holes in your ceiling where you have wires run, you might find yourself having to modify this like I did.I took a dremel to this and opened up the inside of it a bit more. Then there was plenty of space for wire routing and connections. I wouldn't recommend doing that unless you're confident with cutting and it is not the kind of thing you would want to do if you were replacing 10 of these, but for 1 it was no big deal.Otherwise, its sturdy, attractive, and easy to install. Sits reasonably flush with the ceiling after tightening it up. The wife loves it, so I love it.

Barely covered the recessed light hole but perfect. The goal was achieved with the help of some small L brackets.

The canopy is just the size I need for a light fixture that came with small canopy (not wide enough to cover the junction box).This kit came with all the pieces I needed, and i was able to thread through 2 electrical wires and a metal wire.However, the mounting plate was too long to secure into my existing junction bar. There should be more holes to line up to the junction box. So I had to rig it into a cross bar.Fingers crossed it holds up.
