This was part of a project to lift up a vital place in my kitchen, it has everything I was looking for. Easy to install, works great. The rope cord could be just a bit thicker, but I'm very happy with this.

This is a great-looking swag kit, and the dimmer works perfectly with LED bulbs. The only nit is the dimmer switch takes a bit of rotation before the lamp clicks fully off...but it's really not an issue and not worth knocking a star off the rating. The cord has a handsome natural rattan-looking color, and appears very durable. We paired the kit with my wife's hand-made ceramic shade, and you can see how professional it looks in the photo.

This thing is awesome! Worked exactly as I'd hoped. I was worried the 16' length might be too long for our low-ceilinged kitchen, but it actually works quite well. We used this cord with a light that was meant to be hard-wired; instead of screwing the shade on using the mechanism provided, we cut a notch in the shade itself. The cord weathered this change just fine. We had the whole thing up in a matter of minutes. A cup hook, wall anchor, and hanging hook are provided; we ended up using a second cup hook as well.A few minor issues:First, depending on where you position this cord, the dimmer switch may be out of reach. Obviously, the manufacturer just had to pick a spot to attach the switch, so hopefully it works ok for you. Ours rests on the floor.Second, the dimmer function doesn't seem the best. You have to turn the switch a bit before the light comes on - it's not as sensitive as I'd like.Third, the cord has some weird kinks in it. I'm hoping gravity will straighten it out over time, but it looks a bit wonky for now.Other than those minor issues, though, I'm very happy with this cord!

Good quality and easy to use for my sprayed wicker shade. Very long cord, the twist holds together nicely and the dimmer works great. Will buy another when I find another shade for one. The location of the dial is located far enough from the shade to really run the light wherever you need on the ceiling. I bound some of the cord to the wall behind the table so I had better access to the dimmer switch on my desktop. Will buy another

I reviewed this before I even put a lightbulb in it… but today when I did the lightbulb flicker… I wish I had started this project earlier and didn’t do a review till I put a lightbulb in it ughhh

This was a gift to our daughter. After storing for a year awaiting renovation & construction she attempted to hang her wicker shades & found this cord product not to fit. A total waste of money. Thought U was doing something good for my family & this product if flawed & useless in a standard application. It is to bad it took us so long to find this out. DO NOT BUY

This worked perfectly with the lamp shade I bought! I was having trouble finding the right light for above my swinging daybed on my front porch, I love the dimmer & the cord length was exactly wat I needed! I love the way it all came together!

Paired this with the IKEA dykarklocka pendant fixture (perfect fit) and some pulley mounting hardware also purchased through Amazon. The 16ft cord worked well with our 8ft ceiling. The dimmer does work, but for best results you should use a compatible bulb that’s actually specified as dimmable. The braided cord and wooden socket connector are much more stylish and intentional looking than a standard white or black cord… very happy with this so far.
